  • Publication number: 20230132293
Abstract: [Object] To provide a multilayered polyester resin-coated metal sheet having respective performance of suppression of film cracks around a rivet portion arranged on a can lid (processability), suppression of resin delamination through retort processing after content filling (adhesion), and suppression of corrosion of a metal substrate after aging (corrosion resistance), all together at high levels, in addition to operability at the time of opening. [Solving Means] A multilayered polyester resin-coated metal sheet of the present invention has a metal substrate, a lower layer formed on at least one side of the metal substrate and made from a polyester resin (A) modified with 2 to 30 mol % of a first copolymerizable component, and an upper layer that is formed on the lower layer and that contains a polyester resin.

  • Patent number: 7538176
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to stably provide a polyester polymer which has excellent transparency, mechanical and electric characteristics, and extremely low optical anisotropy and excellent moldability and size stability for engineering plastics, particularly suitable for optical materials. The above-mentioned problem can be achieved by a polyester polymer, obtainable from a dicarboxylic acid compound and a dihydroxy compound, wherein the dicarboxylic acid compound comprises an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and/or its ester-forming derivative, the dihydroxy compound comprises a compound of the general formula (1): and a content of a diethylene glycol in the polyester polymer is 6 mol % or lower.
