  • Publication number: 20080129757
Abstract: An image display device that displays a list of a plurality of image files classified by a series of plural types on a display, including a thumbnail display page drawing unit (23), which displays each of the plurality of image files with a thumbnail that is an image scaled down from an image indicated by each image file, in which the thumbnail display page drawing unit (23) positions and displays a thumbnail corresponding to an image file belonging to a targeted type, and positions and displays a thumbnail corresponding to an other image file belonging to the targeted type or a thumbnail corresponding to an image file belonging to an other type located next to the targeted type on an untargeted page having a smaller area than the targeted page.

  • Patent number: 6535232
Abstract: An apparatus comprises an object generation unit for generating an object based on three-dimensional object data externally input, an object position determination unit that moves the generated object according to a user input, and thereby determines an object position, a view point position determination unit that moves a view point according to the user input and thereby determines a view point position, a distance calculation unit for calculating a distance from the object position and the view point position, a frame rate determination unit for determining a frame rate corresponding to the calculated distance on the basis of a set table or formula, and a frame rate control unit and a moving image generation unit for reproducing the moving image with the frame rate of moving image data externally input reduced.

  • Patent number: 5577175
Abstract: A 3-dimensional animation generating apparatus includes an image data storing section, a view point information input section, an image supervising section, an image data selecting section, a view point coordinate transforming section, an output image drawing section, a motion addressing section, a shadow area detecting section, and a shadow area supervising section. The image data storing section stores part image data and background image data in association with 3-dimensional coordinates of vertexes included in the image. The image data selecting section searches the image data by a unit of part. The apparatus further comprises a mechanism which, when information related to an observing view point is provided, determines which part image data exists in the visible area, transforms the visible part image data from the observing view point by view point coordinate transformation, and draws the resultant image data in a common drawing area.

  • Patent number: 5467438
Abstract: Color compensation is performed in color images for use in an image processing field which is employed for three-dimensional computer graphics and the like by making a luminance value of texture data coincide with an intensity derived by an intensity calculation. Also, lightness compensation is performed for a color image according to a display scene. From measurements of color changes of plural colors in a uniform color space, a color change of arbitrary texture data under a chromatic color light source is represented and compensated. The generated image is very natural because compensation is achieved between a lightness of a texture itself representing a pattern on the surface of an object and an intensity of the surface of the object derived by an intensity calculation when an image is generated.

  • Patent number: 5325472
Abstract: An image displaying system interactively changes the positions of the view vector and the viewpoint in the 3-dimensional space of a camera model which displays an object geometric model, constructed within a computer, on the screen in the computer assisted design (CAD) and science art simulation field. The user inputs the object point and the target point on the display screen showing the viewpoint and the view vector direction so as to effect the screen display of the scene with the positions of the view vector and the viewpoint in the 3-dimensional space of the camera model for displaying on the screen the object geometric model constructed within the computer. The scene with the viewpoint and the view vector direction being interactively changed is displayed on the screen.
