  • Publication number: 20040100203
Abstract: A common line is eliminated, and one terminal of the capacitor, which has been heretofore connected to the common line, is connected to the scan line of another display cell adjacent to the display cell having the capacitor. A scan line driving circuit supplies to respective scan lines a stepped pulse formed of a voltage V1 and a voltage V2 sufficiently larger than the voltage V1. A data line driving circuit supplies to the respective data lines a voltage not smaller than the voltage V1 and not larger than a voltage V3 (but smaller than the voltage V2) as a data voltage.

  • Patent number: 6739198
Abstract: A pressure sensitive sensor is provided that includes a net braid member formed by knitting a plurality of insulating yarn strands, such as an aramid fiber, interposed between an elastic electroconductive tube and a central electrode member. The elastic electroconductive tube and the central electrode member are brought into electrical contact with each other through the gap portion of the mesh of the net braid member at a pressure point, and pressure is detected. The central electrode member is formed by winding an electroconductive metal wire in a coil on the outer peripheral surface of a central member formed by coating an elastic insulating material on a central reinforcing member formed of an aramid fiber. Thus, a pressure sensitive sensor which has a simple construction, can be produced easily and at low cost, is suitable for making a small sensor, and can appropriately function even if the sensor is warped or kinked at a sharp curvature.

  • Patent number: 6494523
Abstract: A harness-wiring system is provided that includes a wire harness extending from the body of an automobile to a sliding door thereof. The sliding door include a harness housing with a guiding slot. A portion of electrical cables forming the wire harness is passed through a net-like sheath knitted from resin threads, and this portion is folded into the harness housing, so as to form a U-shaped configuration in the harness housing. The system includes a first clamping device having a mount. This first clamping device fixes the net-like sheath onto the electrical cables, while fixing itself to the harness housing. The system further includes a second clamping device having a guide. The second clamping device fixes the net-like sheath onto the electrical cables, while fitting the guide with the guiding slot. The construction of the wire harness connection between the car body and the sliding door is thus simplified.

  • Patent number: 6282291
Abstract: An output bit sequences is derived from an initial bit sequence and this output bit sequence is used to encrypt an input bit sequence in a first mode of operation or not to so encrypt the input bit sequence in a second mode of operation. The mode of operation is switched automatically whenever the output bit sequence contains a predetermined trap bit sequence. As a result of this automatic switching between such encryption and no such encryption, unauthorized determination of secret codes is thwarted.

  • Patent number: 6259030
Abstract: An electrical cable for high-voltage circuits is used in fixed type apparatuses such as office or home appliances. The electrical cable includes a tubular core portion formed of fluorine rubber and a magnetic material mixed therewith. The tubular core portion is wound with a conductive wire. The diameter of the conductive wire is set to be about 40 &mgr;m at the most, so that number of spirals can be more than about 10,000 spirals/m. Under these conditions, even when the electrical cable is flexed, spirals of the conductive wire are prevented from being superposed or stacked. The electrical cable can thus be provided with a high impedance and prevented from noise penetration.

  • Patent number: 6252172
Abstract: An electrical cable according to the present invention is suitable for high-voltage circuits used in fixed-type apparatuses such as office or home appliances. The cable includes a reinforcing thread, which is baked with a fluorocarbon rubber paint, to form a small-diameter cable core portion. The cable core portion is wound with a conductive wire having a wire core portion and a semi-electroconductive wire-coating. Because the conductive wire includes the semi-electroconductive coating, it can be wound densely. As a result, the electrical cable as a whole can be made thinner, while maintaining a high noise-suppressing effect.
