  • Patent number: 11725656
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and a movable scroll. The fixed-side wrap extends, from a main surface of the fixed-side end plate, along a first direction with a fixed-side dimension set in advance. The movable-side wrap extends, from a main surface of the movable-side end plate, along the first direction with a movable-side dimension set in advance. The fixed and movable side dimensions are set such that a fixed-side first region receives a force that presses the movable scroll against the fixed scroll when the movable scroll is inclined with respect to the fixed scroll. The fixed-side first region includes a distal end surface of a part between 0.0 and 0.5 turns from a fixed-side reference point set in advance and located on an outermost periphery of the fixed-side wrap, and a distal end surface of a part between 1.0 and 1.5 turns from the fixed-side reference point.

  • Patent number: 8998596
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a pressing mechanism and a back-flow prevention mechanism. The pressing mechanism includes a back-pressure chamber facing a back surface of a movable-scroll end plate, and a back-pressure supply path arranged to allow the back-pressure chamber to communicate with a compression chamber which is in a state right before the compression chamber communicates with an outlet port or a state in which the compression chamber communicates with the outlet port. The back-flow prevention mechanism allows refrigerant of the back-pressure supply path to flow from the compression chamber to the back-pressure chamber, and prevents fluid of the back-pressure supply path from returning from the back-pressure chamber to the compression chamber.

  • Patent number: 7758326
Abstract: A scroll fluid machine comprises compression chambers defined with an orbiting scroll orbiting relative to a fixed scroll, and a back pressure chamber provided on the face opposite from a wrap of the orbiting scroll. A back pressure port is provided, which is formed in an end-plate of the orbiting scroll and connects from a compression chamber side opening opened to a compression chamber side and to a back pressure chamber side opening opened to a back pressure chamber side. The compression chamber side opening is opened and closed by an end-plate of the fixed scroll according as the orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll to perform connection and blockage of the back pressure port. The flow resistance of fluid flowing in and out between the back pressure chamber and the compression chamber is reduced and the compression efficiency and reliability are improved.
