  • Patent number: 11345412
Abstract: In a vehicle bottom structure, a floor panel to which a cross member is fixed is connected to a rocker inner which is a skeleton member. The floor panel and the rocker inner are sealed from a lower side by a lower seal member, but a region near the reinforcement member is a lower non-sealed part which cannot be sealed. Further, the floor panel and the rocker inner are sealed from an upper side by an upper seal member, but a region near the cross member is an upper non-sealed part which cannot be sealed. On respective sides of the upper non-sealed part, connecting seal members are provided, so that the lower seal member and the upper seal member are connected and a waterproof line is formed.

  • Patent number: 10988179
Abstract: A suspension member is mounted on the side members of an underbody. On the rear portion of the suspension member, spacers are provided between the suspension member and the underbody. Each spacer includes a bracket. The front end surface of the bracket is opposed to the rear wall surface of a main suspension body. During a frontal collision, the rear wall surface of the suspension member abuts against the bracket, whereby retreat of the suspension member is reduced.

  • Patent number: 10875580
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a front side member disposed on each of opposite lateral sides in a front portion of a vehicle, and a crash box disposed forward of the front side member. The crash box extends further outward in a vehicle width direction with respect to the front side member. The motor vehicle further includes a triangular gusset attached to the front side member and the crash box. The triangular gusset includes an oblique portion extending diagonally forward from where the triangular gusset is joined to the front side member. A reinforcing patch is further disposed close to the triangular gusset along the oblique portion of the triangular gusset. This vehicle structure enables transmission to the front side member of a load input to the gusset, which is greater than an assumed load.

  • Publication number: 20200269682
Abstract: An fuel inlet port structure includes an inlet box having a box shape and having a box opening at its bottom, an inner panel disposed further inward of a vehicle with respect to the inlet box, and an inlet shield inserted through the box opening of the inlet box from outward of the vehicle and disposed between the inlet box and the inner panel. The inlet shield includes a barrel portion having a groove extending circumferentially along part of an entire circumference of an outer surface of the barrel portion at an outer edge.

  • Patent number: 10703416
Abstract: A vehicle front portion structure includes a pair of front side members arranged at a distance from each other in a vehicle width direction, each of the front side members extending in a vehicle front-rear direction, a gusset attached to a vehicle width direction outside surface of each of the front side members, protruding outwards in the vehicle width direction beyond the front side member, and having a vehicle width direction dimension decreasing toward a rear of a vehicle, and an MC cross member stretching between the front side members, in which the MC cross member and the front side member face each other in a state where the MC cross member and the front side member are apart from each other in the vehicle width direction at the same vehicle front-rear direction position as a rear end of the gusset.
