The load receiving surface extends from the fixing surface toward the top in a direction where the load receiving surface intersects with the fixing surface. The load receiving surface extends from an outermost side of the external sensor toward the outside.

    Abstract: A vehicle body rear structure includes a floor pan 13, a subframe, an impact absorbing member 4 provided behind the subframe, a bracket 5 for detachably attaching the impact absorbing member 4, and an extension member 6 provided to face a rear end portion 39 of the impact absorbing member 4. The impact absorbing member 4 has a first extending portion 47 along a lower surface 13a of the floor pan 13 and a second extending portion 48 that extends forward with respect to the floor pan 13. The extension member 6 extends above the impact absorbing member 4 in the vertical direction.
