  • Patent number: 11848520
Abstract: An electrical connection structure comprises a base member, a connector, and a mating connector. The electrical connection structure comprises a half-fitting detecting mechanism including a half-fitting detecting portion in the connector and a short-circuiting member in the mating connector. The half-fitting detecting portion includes a conductive member and an inspecting member. The half-fitting detecting portion allows a half-fitting state to be detected by the short-circuiting member being in non-contact with the inspecting member when in the half-fitting state. The inspecting member short-circuits with the conductive member via the short-circuiting member by the mating engaging portion of the short-circuiting member being engaged with the engaging portion of the connector and being in contact with a contact part of the inspecting member and the short-circuiting member being in contact with the conductive member when in a normal fitting state.

  • Publication number: 20220361772
Abstract: A gait state measurement device measures a gait state of a subject who is walking on a walking surface formed on a belt that runs along a circulation track. The gait state measurement device includes an acquisition unit, a position estimation unit, and a warning control unit. The acquisition unit acquires measurement information of a load distribution sensor that detects the load of the subject through the belt. The position estimation unit estimates the position of the sole of the subject based on the measurement information. The warning control unit performs a different type of warning depending on a relationship between the position of the sole of the subject and each of target areas that are defined according to an installation area of the load distribution sensor.

  • Patent number: 10923849
Abstract: A connector includes a housing including an accommodation passage and a retainer insertion space, and a retainer including an insertion wall extending along the connector mating direction and a locking claw protruding from a rear portion thereof toward an accommodation passage direction. In the housing, a locking protrusion is provided at a rear portion of the retainer insertion space. When the retainer is inserted into the retainer insertion space from a connector mating front side, the locking claw gets over the locking protrusion to be engaged therewith, and thus a pre-locked position at which detachment of the retainer to the front side is prevented is obtained. When the retainer is moved in a widthwise direction, a full-locked position at which the locking claw engages with a step in the rear portion of the connector terminal, and detachment of the connector terminal toward the rear side is prevented is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5955391
Abstract: In fiber composite ceramic containing reaction sintered SiC as a matrix and having BN-coated SiC continuous fibers as composite fibers, the thickness of the BN coating need not be especially made large, and a sliding effect during growing of cracks can be improved, i.e., breakdown energy can be increased. A method of manufacturing fiber composite ceramic in which large number of BN-coated SiC fibers covered with a BN coating are gathered to form yarns, or yarns are woven to form a two-dimensional or three-dimensional fabric, and a preform is formed by the yarns or the fabric, C powder is arranged in a gap portion between fibers of the preform to form a compact, a molten Si is impregnated into the compact to form an SiC matrix between fibers. A region having a high B concentration is formed around the SiC fibers before the preform is impregnated with the molten Si, and B in the region is solid-solved in Si during reaction sintering to suppress B in the BN-coated SiC fibers from being solid-solved in Si.

  • Patent number: 4597292
Abstract: An ultrasonic transducer is adapted to transmit spherical ultrasonic waves which have a plurality of frequencies into an object under examination while being scanned in a direction at right angles to the direction of transmission. By repeating this operation, echo signals are obtained, on the basis of which a B-scan distribution image of the echo signals is obtained through use of a synthetic aperture method. Using the distribution image, there is determined position information relating to positions of interest in the object as indicated in the distribution image, as well as scanning positions of the ultrasonic transducer situated on extensions of straight lines connecting the positions of interest. The attenuation coefficient of the object is measured based on echo signals at the scanning positions.

  • Patent number: 4566330
Abstract: A method and apparatus for ultrasonic measurement in which ultrasonic pulses having a plurality of different frequencies are transmitted into in order to object under investigation and derive a mean value of attenuation coefficients indicative of attenuation within the object, as well as the frequency dependence of the attenuation coefficient. If the frequency dependence of the reflection intensity from the object under investigation is constant or proportional to frequency within a range of measured frequencies, it is possible to obtain the attenuation coefficient and the coefficient indicative of its frequency dependence within a small area of the object by measuring the echo intensity of emitted ultrasonic pulses having three different frequencies. Furthermore, extending the above-mentioned processing over all small areas of the entire object enables obtaining a two-dimensional distribution image indicative of the attenuation coefficient and its frequency dependence.
