  • Patent number: 6459255
Abstract: A current detector having a linear conductor 111, 112, a linear to-be measured conductor 10 disposed substantially in parallel to the conductor 111, 112 and through which a to-be measured current flows. A Hall element 20 disposed in the vicinity of the to-be measured conductor 10 such that a magnetic flux generated by the to-be measured current flowing through the to-be measured conductor 10 enter into a magnetic-force sensing face 21 substantially perpendicularly. A substrate 30 for supporting the conductor and the to-be measured conductor 10 such that the magnetic flux generated by a current flowing through the conductor becomes substantially parallel to the magnetic-force sensing face +21 in the magnetic-force sensing face 21 of the Hall element 20.

  • Patent number: 6441604
Abstract: An electric current sensor for sensing an electric current flowing through a conductor comprises a single hall element having a magnetic-flux sensitive surface, and an angle adjusting mechanism. The angle adjusting mechanism changes an angle between the magnetic-flux sensitive surface and the direction of a magnetic flux induced by the electric current flowing through the conductor. The magneto-electric conversion element outputs an electric signal in response to a magnetic flux density at the magnetic-flux sensitive surface. The electric current sensor detects the electric current flowing through the conductor based on the electric signal output from the magneto-electric conversion element whose magnetic-flux sensitive surface is oriented with respect to the magnetic flux at a selected angle.

  • Patent number: 6411190
Abstract: A current sensor 73 detects a current flowing through a first buss bar 11. When a current value detected by the current sensor 73 became equal to or greater than a threshold current value, a CPU 74 outputs a driving control signal to a driving circuit 77, and the driving circuit 77 operates an, ignitor 29 through a second substrate 65 and a terminal 50. Therefore, the ignitor 29 ignites, a second projection 41 is melted by heat of a heating agent 27, a compression spring 34 is expanded and a thermite case 26 jumps up. Thus, electrical connection between the thermite case 26 and the first and second buss bars 11, 19 is interrupted.

  • Publication number: 20020041179
Abstract: A current detection device, a power supply system and a method for detecting electric current is disclosed as including an electric conductor 10 which has first, second and third conductor components 11, 12, 13 extending from a diverging point O in three orientations with a given angle with respect to one another, first and second magnet-electric transducer elements 21, 22 located at both sides of the first conductor component in positions equally spaced from the first conductor component and in the vicinity of the diverging point, and a calculation processor circuit responsive to a differential value between first and second electric signals produced by the first and second transducer elements for thereby detecting electric current flowing through the first conductor component.

  • Publication number: 20010035685
Abstract: A first battery 12 is for supply of power at a first voltage. A second battery 13 is for supply of power at a second voltage to a load 14. A converter 120 is between the first battery 12 and the second battery 13. The converter 120 is for conversion of power between the first voltage and the second voltage in magnitude. A controller 110 is for operation of the converter 120 in dependent on a first current in magnitude through the load 14 and a second current in magnitude at an output terminal of the second battery 13.

  • Publication number: 20010033471
Abstract: A current detection switch comprising a measured conductor into which a measured current flows, a plurality of magnetoelectric devices placed sandwiching the measured conductor so as to have magneto-sensitive faces on sides to which a magneticflux generated by the measured current is input, each of the magnetoelectric devices for outputting a magnetoelectric signal when the magnetic flux exceeds a predetermined value, and a computation section for outputting a logical multiplication of the magnetoelectric signals from the plurality of magnetoelectric devices as a detection signal.

  • Patent number: 5845221
Abstract: A switch operating unit 10 has operating switches for operating loads. A load control unit controls the corresponding loads in accordance with the operation of the operating switches according to information, which is stored in first storage device, as to the correlation between the operating switches and the loads. A total rated capacity computation device computes the total rated capacity of the loads to be driven under the control of the load control unit according to information, which is stored in second storage device, as to the rated capacity of each load. When the total rated capacity exceeds a predetermined allowable capacity, the load control unit operates to restrict the driving of the low-priority loads in the order of analog-controlled loads and on-off controlled loads according to the information stored in the second storage device.
