  • Patent number: 5953437
Abstract: The invention provides a miniaturized and low-profile electroacoustic transducer. In the electroacoustic transducer, a space is formed underneath a magnet by diminishing a vertical thickness of the magnet in comparison with the height of a magnetic core, and also by disposing the magnet at a position trensversely aligned to an upper portion of the magnetic core, so that the space is utilized as a part of a back space at the back of a diaphragm, and for connection of terminals of a coil with external terminals, thereby realizing miniaturization and flattening in the shape of the electroacoustic transducer.

  • Patent number: 5831938
Abstract: A lead terminal connection structure of an electroacoustic transducer comprises a lead terminal member having a pair of lead terminals integrated via a bridge piece. The lead terminals have solder surfaces to be soldered to the surface of a circuit board of another device on which an electroacoustic transducer is to be installed. When the lead terminal member is attached to a circuit board of the electroacoustic transducer and the bridge piece is cut, the pair of lead terminals become separate from each other.

  • Patent number: 5800663
Abstract: A terminal connection method of a coil comprises the steps of arranging coil terminals of a coil on lead terminals; removing insulating coats of the coil terminals to expose core wires; and applying an electric conductivity adhesive to connected portions of the coil terminals and the lead terminals. A terminal connection structure of a coil comprises coil terminals arranged on lead terminals, with insulating coats removed from the coil terminals; and an electric conductivity adhesive applied to connected portions of the coil terminals and the lead terminals.

  • Patent number: 5747906
Abstract: An electroacoustic transducer, which has a lead frame previously formed into a predetermined shape, an outer case formed integrally with the lead frame and a drive section including a coil arranged inside the outer case, comprises an opening formed in the outer case; lands formed by exposing a part of the lead frame through an outer surface of the outer case; and the coil having coil terminals led out of the outer case through the opening and connected to the lands.

  • Patent number: 5721785
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a small-sized sound generator capable of simplifying the structures of terminals, facilitating surface mounting, and setting a sound emitting hole in an arbitrary direction. The small-sized sound generator includes a converting means housed in a housing for converting an electric signal into sound or oscillation, wherein conductors each having an arbitrary pattern are disposed on the surfaces of the housing so as to form terminals integrally with the housing.

  • Patent number: 5675885
Abstract: An automated method for winding a coil of an electroacoustic transducer utilizes a support member that has a frusto-conical projection for receiving an outer pole tip. The frusto-conical configuration assures that, upon completion of a coil winding about the pole, there is an exposed recess around the periphery of the pole tip. This is accompanied by an end surface of the winding being coplanar with the corresponding end surface of the pole tip. Maximized performance for the transducer may then be realized.
