  • Publication number: 20040168774
Abstract: A tape mounting system 1 mounts a product X to a strip tape T, and includes a tape holding mechanism, a mounting mechanism and a control unit 70. The tape holding mechanism has a payout roller 61 and a carry-out conveyor 64, and holds the strip tape T in a horizontal state. The mounting mechanism has a clamp 62 and a heater block 63, and mounts the product X to the strip tape T by attaching a portion X2 to the strip tape T. The control unit 70 controls the tape holding mechanism and mounting mechanism such that the portion X2 of the products X vertically overlaps the strip tape T. The tape mounting system that reduces positional deviation of the portion X2 and the strip tape T during the mounting of product X to the tape T caused by positional deviation of the tape T.

  • Publication number: 20040088948
Abstract: A bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus includes a bag manufacturing unit that tubularly forms a strip film and manufactures a bag filled with articles; a feed roller unit that feeds a strip, to which the bag manufactured by the bag manufacturing unit is mounted; and a mounting unit that mounts the bag to the strip fed by the feed roller unit. The strip is rectilinearly maintained between the feed roller unit and the mounting unit by imparting a bend on the strip in the transverse cross section that intersects a transport pathway of the strip. The object of the present invention is to provide a bag manufacturing and packaging apparatus that, even if the strip to which bags are mounted lacks rigidity, can smoothly feed the strip, automatically thread the strip to the mounting unit, and form appropriate slits in the strip.

  • Publication number: 20040008815
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of evaluating the performance of an ion-exchange film. In the method, small-angle scattering curves for the ion-exchange film at different humidities are obtained by an X-ray measuring apparatus that can detect X-rays scattered at small angles with respect to the axis of an X-ray applied to the ion-exchange film. From the positions of the peaks on the small-angle scattering curves and the X-ray intensities at these peaks, the change in the characteristic of the film, which accompanies change in the molecular structure (hence, ion-exchanging ability) of the ion-exchange film due to the change in humidity, is evaluated. The humidity ambient to the ion-exchange film can be adjusted by a humidity-adjusting device that comprises a vapor source, gas source, gas mixer and gas-introducing pipe.

  • Publication number: 20030066449
Abstract: A blanket for printing which has a supporting layer or a reinforcing layer comprising a plurality of woven fabrics laminated via an elastic binder layer formed on the underside of a surface layer which is to be a printing surface, the warps of the woven fabrics constituting the supporting layer and the reinforcing layer comprising a vinylon yarn which is a spun yarn spun by a wet solvent cooling gel spinning method. The warps of at least one of the woven fabrics constituting the reinforcing layer should comprise the vinylon yarn which is a spun yarn spun by the wet solvent cooling gel spinning method. Use of the woven fabrics whose warps comprise the vinylon yarn which is a spun yarn spun by the wet solvent cooling gel spinning provides satisfactory adhesion and press resistance to repeated compression in high-speed printing, little settling and improved resistance to smashing at the time of cutting paper.

  • Patent number: 6504902
Abstract: A multilayer mirror 1 that has elliptical reflection faces and provides a divergent angle &dgr; of X-rays, is included. The elliptical reflection faces of the multilayer mirror 1 have two focal points. When an X-ray source 2 is arranged at one focal point A, and X-rays that are diverged from the X-ray source 2 are reflected at the multilayer mirror 1, the reflected X-rays converge on another focal point B. The X-ray source 2 is arranged at one focal point A of the multilayer mirror 1. Additionally, a distance L2 from the center of the reflection faces of the multilayer mirror 1 to another focal point B (in other words, convergent point of reflected X-rays) is set to make a convergent angle &thgr;c of X-rays at the focal point B nearly twice as great as the divergent angle &dgr;. With the above-noted configuration, both small angle resolution and intensity of incident X-rays to a sample may be optimized, and small angle scattering may be performed with high precision.
