  • Patent number: 7020919
Abstract: A pillow of an appropriate height, resiliency, and hardness, which is light in weight and excellent in strength and does not impose too much stress on a user's head and neck while enhancing air permeability and heat dispersion properties, provides good comfort to the user. The pillow 1 includes a pillow body 10 having a head-supporting section 11 for supporting the user's head and a neck-supporting section 12 for supporting the neck, and frame bodies 20A and 20B disposed at both sides of the pillow body 10 to support it. The pillow body 10 is a woven article of resin long elements and the neck-supporting section 12 is harder than the head-supporting section 11.

  • Publication number: 20020046544
Abstract: It is possible to continuously obtain, through simple steps, a plate which can gain sufficient strength, which is very lightweight and easy to handle, and which has the optimal heat insulating effect. A plate 1 is manufactured by: guiding a glass fiber containing member 5 into a space formed by an outer mold 11 and a center mold 12; injecting a resin 4 into the space formed by the outer mold 11 and the center mold 12; integrating the resin 4 with the glass fiber containing member 5 to form a hollow panel 2; and injecting a foaming material into a hollow part formed in the hollow panel 2, and causing the foaming material to foam and integrate with the hollow panel 2.

  • Patent number: 5259659
Abstract: An opening/closing apparatus of a canvas for a load transport vehicle is provided, which does not require a large working space. The apparatus has support posts raised at least at the front and tail ends of the rear body of the load transport vehicle and the canvas which covers the rear body by way of the support posts is lifted and lowered along the support posts, the apparatus including: a drum and has an outer diameter larger than that of drum; a wire which is taken up at one end thereof by the pulley and is connected at the other end of the lower portion of the rear body; a driver mechanism which is provided between said drum and the pulley, which causes the pulley to rotate integrally with the drum when the tension of the wire wound on the pulley is less than a predetermined value, and which causes the pulley to slide with respect to the drum when the tension is equal to or more than the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 4722476
Abstract: An apparatus for positioning an automobile in an extremely limited area such as that in a parking lot. The apparatus has a pair of carriages for carrying left and right wheels of the vehicle and movable in the breadthwise direction of the vehicle, a pair of guide bars having inclined portions for progressively engaging the inner or outer surfaces of the vehicle wheels as the vehicle moves onto the apparatus, a spring for urging the guide bars to standard positions where the guide bars are in symmetry with each other with respect to the longitudinal axis of the limited area, and a racks-and-pinion mechanism which is arranged such that, when one of the guide bars is displaced by the vehicle wheel in the breadthwise direction of the vehicle, the other guide bar also is moved in such a manner that both guide bars are always maintained in symmetry with each other with respect to the axis of the limited area.

  • Patent number: 4216995
Abstract: A collapsible chair including a seat, an applied plate, a back support and a seat support. The seat includes a pair of separated stoppers provided on the front bottom surface of the seat, a pair of first fixing frames corresponding with and adjacent to the stoppers, a hole having a notch therein formed in the first frames, a pair of second fixing frames provided on the rear bottom surface of the seat and corresponding with the first fixing frames and holes having a notch therein provided in the second frames. The applied plate fits on the bottom surface of the seat between the first and second fixing frames and includes curved edges for engaging with a pipe and a joining part provided in the center of the applied plate for engaging with the seat support. The back support is coupled to the seat by a pair of curved pipes which are coupled to the back support at one end and whose other end extends through the holes in the first and second fixing frames and the curved edges of the applied plate.
