  • Patent number: 9246423
Abstract: An exemplary system has circuitry that receives a first signal, the first signal being generated responsive to a user control for a play speed of a film. The system also includes circuitry that receives a second signal, the second signal being synchronized with a video camera that generates television signals. Circuitry processes the first signal with the second signal, to generate a third signal. Responsive to the third signal, the exemplary system moves a relative position of the film with respect to the video camera, to generate a video signal.

  • Patent number: 8731396
Abstract: Disclosed is a system configured to operate with a hand-held camera. The hand-held camera is configured to operate with a film cartridge. The film cartridge defines an opening to enable entry of a driven film-feeding member into engagement with film edge perforations, the film-feeding member being driven by the camera for movement in a rectilinear path whereby successive film edge perforations are engaged so as to intermittently move the film past the exposure aperture. The system comprises a housing configured to be moveably engageable with the camera, in place of the film cartridge; a detector configured to generate a first signal in response to detecting a movement of the film-feeding member; and circuitry configured to write signals from an image sensor into the memory, according to an addressing mechanism that is responsive to the first signal.

  • Patent number: 8534980
Abstract: Disclosed is system configured to place a load in a motor vehicle. The system includes a beam defining a first end configured to receive the load, and a second end configured to receive a counter force to the load; and a base defining a fulcrum for the beam, such that the second end of the beam receives a constraining force from a ceiling of the vehicle, the constraining force thereby acting as the counter force.

  • Patent number: 8210295
Abstract: An electric wheelchair that enables users suffering from impairment of the lower extremities due to paralysis or weakness caused by aging to manage their daily lives independently for social rehabilitation by allowing them to raise and lower the seat of the wheelchair between squatting and standing positions, to support their body weight at any position by stopping the chair, and to operate the movement of the wheel chair by using their arms or elbows pressed on either the inner or outer surfaces of the armrests even if both hands are occupied or impaired.

  • Publication number: 20070108334
Abstract: A cord reel consisting of a bobbin equipped with a circular shaped separator at the center of the core and a hook attached to the core to anchor the cord for take up and storage of a cord for an earpiece of a portable sound device or mobile telephone, capable of full or partial winding in either direction by using a cutout for the hook that snags the cord, thus eliminating cord twisting and increasing efficiency of winding because winding is not limited to only one direction.
