  • Patent number: 9501423
Abstract: A program execution device includes a program loader reading a machine language program including a machine language code and access frequency information; an address conversion table creator creating an address conversion table including entries, each of which indicates a relation between a logical address range and a physical address range; and a TLB register registering, in a TLB, an entry of the address conversion table storing a logical address range accessed according to the machine language code. When determining that the frequency of access to a logical address range is high based on the access frequency information, the address conversion table creator adjusts the size of an entry storing this logical address range to an appropriate size.

  • Patent number: 7104017
Abstract: Outer cables disposed in a box girder in the longitudinal direction of a box girder bridge to prestress the box girder each have a transparent sheath made of a transparent polyethylene resin, vinyl chloride resin, polypropylene resin or the like, thereby allowing the grouting condition in the sheath to be inspected reliably and easily. If a colored grout is filled, the filling condition can be inspected even more reliably and easily. In addition, it is possible to readily find a portion left unfilled after the grout has hardened and to refill it for repairing by using openings for injection and ejection made at each side of the void left.

  • Publication number: 20050210782
Abstract: A tensioned end of a prestressed-concrete structure is constructed easily and reliably. A grout can 5 in a tensioned end structure of a prestressed-concrete structure is made of a transparent material, particularly preferably a transparent electrically insulating material, thereby reliably performing grouting while visually observing and checking the filling condition of grout G in the grout can 5 from the outside thereof. A synthetic resin, particularly an ionomer resin, is preferably used as the transparent electrically insulating material constituting the grout can.

  • Publication number: 20050108981
Abstract: In the present invention, testing is performed by injecting grout (G) into a full-scale specimen comprising a cable that is fabricated at a place other than a construction site. The cable has a sheath made of a transparent material and has the same three-dimensional configuration as that of an internal cable (2°) at the construction site. Alternatively, grout (G) is injected into a partial specimen comprising a lengthwise part of the cable where an air trap is likely to occur. The testing is performed under a plurality of different testing conditions. The best grouting conditions are selected from testing results and applied to grouting actually carried out at the construction site.

  • Patent number: 6655104
Abstract: A joint made between prestressing strands with a prestressing strand coupler is covered with a transparent coupler sheath having a retarded-hardening resin filling material injection opening and discharge opening provided in a tube wall thereof, and a resin filling material is injected into the transparent coupler sheath from the injection opening to fill the coupler sheath with the filling material. Thereafter, the whole outer peripheral portion of the prestressing strand joint, including the coupler sheath, is embedded with placed concrete. Tension is applied to the prestressing strands after the concrete has hardened and before the resin filling material hardens, thereby completing an excellent prestressing strand joint structure. According to the present invention, the filling condition of the resin filling material in the coupler sheath around the prestressing strand joint can readily be confirmed by visual observation.

  • Patent number: 5260457
Abstract: A process for producing coumarin and a derivative thereof represented by formula (2): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group, provided that at least two of R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 each represents a hydrogen atom, the process comprising the step of heating a 3-(2-cyclohexanoyl)propionic acid ester represented by formula (1): ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 to R.sub.4 are as defined above and R.sub.5 represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms,in the presence of a palladium catalyst, thereby to allow the ester of formula (1) to undergo cyclization and dehydrogenation reactions, the latter stage of the reactions, in which the conversion of the 3-(2-cyclohexanoyl) propionic acid ester used as a starting material has reached about 80% or more, being conducted at a higher temperature than that for the former stage of the reactions.

  • Patent number: 5218129
Abstract: A process for producing 3,4-dihydrocoumarin comprising cyclization and dehydrogenation of a 3-(2-cyclohexanoyl)propionic acid ester, in which a reaction mixture obtained by the cyclization and dehydrogenation is washed with an alkali to reduce the dihydrocinnamic acid content of the reaction mixture to 1% by weight or less and/or previously distilling the reaction mixture to remove high-boiling substances, and then subjected to rectification to recover 3,4-dihydrocoumarin. The thus obtained 3,4-dihydrocoumarin has high purity and high quality sufficient for use as a perfume as it is.
