  • Publication number: 20110012276
Abstract: A method for manufacturing molded articles with cores uses a compression molding apparatus that includes upper and lower punches that have a double structure comprising a central punch and an outer punch that surrounds the periphery of the central punch. The central punch and the outer punch are movable and capable either of moving together or sliding with respect to one another. Molding materials are supplied for a core and an outer layer. The molding materials are compressed by the punches to form molded articles that include the core. The method may be executed in a rotary compression molding machine.

  • Patent number: 7811488
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a molded article with at one or more cores uses compression molding apparatus that includes upper and lower punches that have a double structure comprising a central punch and an outer punch that surrounds the periphery of the central punch. The central punch and the outer punch are capable of independent sliding motions and compressing operations. Molding materials are supplied for a core and an outer layer respectively. The molding materials are compressed by the punches to form molded articles that include the core. The method may be executed in a rotary compression molding machine.

  • Patent number: 7132072
Abstract: To manufacture a multi-core press-coated molded product efficiently and in a single step from molding materials, namely, powder or granular particles, a punch has been devised that is characterized in that the punch, consists of a center punch whose tip portion is split into two or more parts, and an outer punch enclosing the outer perimeter of the center punch, and whose tip portion fills the gap at the tip portion of the center punch, with both the center and outer punches being slidable and manipulatable for compression operation the method of manufacturing a multi-core press-coated molded product using the punch of the invention as compression molding means for at least the upper punch and preferably for both the upper and lower punches, and a rotary compression molding machine therefore is also discribed.

  • Publication number: 20050202082
Abstract: A press-coated fast-dissolving/disintegrating molded product of the present invention is characterized in that the molded product comprises an inner core that contains ingredients rich in dissolubility or/and disintegrability and whose disintegration time is 1 minute or less and an outer layer that contains ingredients rich in moldability on the outside of the inner core and whose disintegration time is 1 minute or less and that the disintegration time of the entire molded product is 1 minute or less. Preferably, here, ingredients rich in dissolubility or/and disintegrability are further contained in the outer layer and dissolution/disintegration accelerants in the inner core.

  • Publication number: 20040113319
Abstract: The subject is to manufacture molding with core efficiently and at one time from molding material such as powder granule. To this end, a method for manufacturing molding with core was invented, which method uses compression molding means, that comprise a die, and upper and lower punches, where at least the upper punch, preferably both the upper and lower punches, have a double structure consisting of a central punch and an outer punch surrounding the outer periphery of the central punch, both the central punch and the outer punch being capable of performing sliding motions as well as compressing operations. This method includes steps of separate supplying of molding materials for core and molding material for outer layer, a compression molding step of the molding material for core and/or the molding material for outer layer, and a compression molding step of the whole molding with core. The invention also provides a rotary compression molding machine, used for execution of the method.
