Abstract: A vane pump includes: a rotor that is coupled with a rotation shaft to rotate; a plurality of vanes that are slidably held by a plurality of vane grooves which are disposed in a radiation direction in an outer circumferential portion of the rotor; a cam ring that is arranged to surround the rotor and the plurality of vanes; and a side plate that covers the cam ring and includes a supply unit which supplies a working fluid into the cam ring between the cam ring, an outer circumference of the side plate being recessed to a radially inner side of the rotation shaft to form the supply unit, in which an outer circumference of the supply unit and an inner circumference of the cam ring are shaped along each other.
