  • Patent number: 5007356
Abstract: A cutting actuator for a button perforating sewing machine enables sequence of various operating steps in a button perforating operation of sewn cloth to be changed under control of an operator. The actuator employs a solenoid controlled arrangement wherein actuation of the solenoid selects one sequence while deactuation of the solenoid selects another sequence.

  • Patent number: 4652462
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of producing a phosphor screen of color picture tube wherein a light absorbing material is applied onto the inner surface of a panel, a shadow mask is provided, the surface of film of the light absorbing material is scanned and irradiated with a laser beam via the shadow mask so that portions of the light absorbing material irradiated with the laser beam are heated and burned, thereby to form a black matrix. According to this method, the number of steps for forming the black matrix is decreased, and the quality and yield of the phosphor screen are increased.

  • Patent number: 4542038
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a cathode-ray tube is provided, wherein in forming a phosphor screen on the inner surface of a faceplate of the cathode-ray tube, the inner surface of the faceplate faces downward while the faceplate is rotated about the axis of the cathode-ray tube, and a liquid material for forming a film is sprayed from a supply nozzle arranged to be substantially perpendicular to the inner surface of the faceplate so as to spray the liquid material on the inner surface of the faceplate along all directions, thereby forming a uniform film throughout the inner surface of the faceplate.

  • Patent number: 4369241
Abstract: In forming a fluorescent screen of a black matrix type color picture tube, a light absorptive film is first formed on the inner surface of a face plate of the color picture tube. Formed on the light absorptive film is a light-hardenable photosensitive resin film which in turn is exposed to light through a shadow mask at portions corresponding to phosphor applying portions. The unexposed portion of the light-hardenable photosensitive film is then developed. Finally, the exposed portion of the light-hardenable photosensitive film and portion of the light absorptive film therebeneath are removed to partly perforate the light absorptive film so that in the light absorptive film, openings are formed into which the phosphor is applied.

  • Patent number: 4332874
Abstract: Disclosed are a photosensitive composition comprising a copolymer comprising acrylamide, diacetone-acrylamide and a sulfonated vinyl monomer, such as sodium p-styrenesulfonate, and a water-soluble aromatic bisazide compound, and a pattern-forming method using this photosensitive composition. This photosensitive composition has a reciprocity law failure, and when this photosensitive composition is used, the development after light exposure is completed in a short time.

  • Patent number: 4211477
Abstract: A light exposing prism system for use in light exposure process for forming a phosphor plane of a color picture tube is disclosed. The prism system is arranged between a panel of the color picture tube and a linear exposing light source and includes a plurality of small prisms which are arranged transversely to an axial line extending through a center of the panel and a center of the light source and to a longitudinal axis of the light source. The prism system is adapted to be oscillated in the direction of arrangement of the small prisms. Pitch of the arrangement of the small prisms is within a range of 0.05 mm to 3.0 mm, preferably 1.0 mm to 3.0 mm.
