  • Patent number: 7513506
Abstract: There is provided a plunger seal (1) for a fuel injection pump for a direct-injection gasoline engine, in which, even if a resin material is used for a fuel seal member (12), the plunger seal can be made compact, sealing ability is increased, and assembling man-hours can be reduced, and in which set sealing performance can be achieved when a U-shaped elastic member (33) for applying an energizing force in a diametrical direction is used in a groove (41) formed in the fuel seal member (12). The resin fuel seal member (12) and an oil seal member (13) are assembled to form one seal system. Further, when the U-shaped elastic member (33) is installed in the groove (41), an axial position (L1) of an end surface (44a) at the side opposite to the sealed object of a fixing collar (44) formed on an inner peripheral surface of the groove (41) is positioned at the side (B) opposite to the sealed object than the axial position (L2) of a leading end portion (15b) of a seal lip (15) of the fuel seal member (12).

  • Publication number: 20080133999
Abstract: According one embodiment, after receiving, as a received bit sequence, an information bit sequence which has been encoded for an error correction in the form of connecting an error correcting code to the outside of an LDPC code, the received bit sequence is subjected to the LDPC decoding, and then subjected to an error correction corresponding to the error correcting code. When the error correction corresponding to the error correcting code is impossible, a bit with low reliability is detected from the received bit sequence subjected to the LDPC decoding, and the bit is inverted, and then the received bit sequence with the inverted bit is subjected to an error correction corresponding to the error correcting code.

  • Publication number: 20080001792
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus which obtains a circumstance where LDPC codes are interleaved without damaging modulation rules and thereby a correction ability of LDPC encoding and decoding method is fully exhibited. The apparatus includes an RLL rule applying section which modulates user data by applying an RLL rule to the user data and thereby obtains RLL encoded sequence data, an interleave section which interleaves the RLL encoded sequence data and thereby obtains interleaved sequence data, an LDPC parity generating section which subjects the interleaved sequence data to LDPC encoding processing and thereby obtains LDPC parity sequence data, an inserting section which inserts parity of the LDPC parity sequence data in the RLL encoded sequence data in a distribution manner and thereby obtains output data, and an output section which records or transmits the output data.

  • Patent number: 6376782
Abstract: In a resinous circuit board having a circuitized substrate having conductive layers therewithin, a plurality of pin pads formed on a rear surface of the substrate, and a plurality of pins, each pin having a tip end portion and a head portion and soldered to the pin pad in such a manner as to contact at the head portion to the pin pad. The head portion of the pin consists of a flange section which is larger in diameter than the tip end portion, and a part-spherical abutment section bulging from the flange section in the direction opposite to the tip end portion and brought into contact with the pin pad. The part-spherical abutment section is made of eutectic silver solder which is lower in melting point than solder such as Sn—Ag solder which is used for soldering the pin to the pin pad. Since the silver solder and soft solder are present between the flange section and the pin pad, they can release the stress applied to the pin, thus making it possible to increase the joining strength considerably.
