Publication number: 20240135918Abstract: A method includes receiving distillation data including a plurality of out-of-domain training utterances. For each particular out-of-domain training utterance of the distillation data, the method includes generating a corresponding augmented out-of-domain training utterance, and generating, using a teacher ASR model trained on training data corresponding to a target domain, a pseudo-label corresponding to the corresponding augmented out-of-domain training utterance. The method also includes distilling a student ASR model from the teacher ASR model by training the student ASR model using the corresponding augmented out-of-domain training utterances paired with the corresponding pseudo-labels generated by the teacher ASR model.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Applicant: Google LLCInventors: Tien-Ju Yang, You-Chi Cheng, Shankar Kumar, Jared Lichtarge, Ehsan Amid, Yuxin Ding, Rajiv Mathews, Mingqing Chen

Publication number: 20200370064Abstract: Described herein are plants, plant seeds, and plants cells that are modified to express particular types of cellulose synthase enzymes (but not CesA3, CesA9, or CesA7 enzymes). Such plants, plant seeds and plant cells can be cotton, flax, hemp, jute, sisal, poplar, or eucalyptus plants, plant seeds or plant cells. The modified plants tend to grow taller, have increased cellulose synthesis, have more crystalline cellulose, have wider secondary cell walls, increased biomass, and increased mechanical strength than in a control plant without the expression cassette (e.g., a wild type or parental plant without the expression cassette).Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2019Publication date: November 26, 2020Inventor: Shi-You Ding

Publication number: 20130056858Abstract: A method for fabricating integrated circuit is provided. First, a substrate having a micro electromechanical system (MEMS) region is provided. A first interconnect structure and a hard mask layer have been disposed on the MEMS region in sequence. Next, an anisotropic etching process is performed by using the hard mask layer as a photo mask to etch a portion of the first interconnect structure exposed by the hard mask layer. Accordingly, a MEMS structure is formed. A portion of the substrate in MEMS region is exposed by the MEMS structure. Then, an isotropic etching process is performed for removing the portion of the substrate in MEMS region to form a cavity with a center region and a ring-like indentation region. The center region is surrounded by the ring-like indentation region and the MEMS structure suspends above the cavity. An integrated circuit is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2011Publication date: March 7, 2013Applicant: UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATIONInventors: Tian-You DING, Meng-Jia LIN, Chin-Sheng YANG

Patent number: 8283150Abstract: Purified cellobiohydrolase I (glycosyl hydrolase family 7 (Cel7A)) enzymes from Penicillium funiculosum demonstrate a high level of specific performance in comparison to other Cel7 family member enzymes when formulated with purified EIcd endoglucanase from A. cellulolyticus and tested on pretreated corn stover. This result is true of the purified native enzyme, as well as recombinantly expressed enzyme, for example, that enzyme expressed in a non-native Aspergillus host. In a specific example, the specific performance of the formulation using purified recombinant Cel7A from Penicillium funiculosum expressed in A. awamori is increased by more than 200% when compared to a formulation using purified Cel7A from Trichoderma reesei.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2008Date of Patent: October 9, 2012Assignee: Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLCInventors: William S.
