Abstract: Disclosed is an operating device which includes an algorithm for selecting one representative value among various calculated results based on diverse interpretations with respect to identical events or same information, and a method for selecting the representative value among several values, in which a separate circuit is not constructed for calculating input data values, but a program is inherently incorporated into an existing operational device for selecting the input data values, thereby avoiding an unnecessary circuit construction while a method for searching out most frequently distributed data values is introduced by processing data values included in a certain error range as the same value to solve a problem in the Triple Modular Redundance system, and reduce cost required for constructing the circuitry.
