    Abstract: The present invention relates to a general active array antenna apparatus capable of environmentally and temporally controlling radio frequency (RF) polarization resource necessary for wireless communication in order to improve communication quality and increase communication capacity. The antenna according to the present invention has a form of an active array antenna element, wherein each active array antenna element has a structure in which it may generate orthogonal dual polarizations and includes two input terminals and output terminals. An end orthogonal dual polarization antenna is connected to a polarization control apparatus that may process analog or digital signals, and the polarization control apparatus is controlled by or communicate with an antenna main controlling apparatus performing a polarization control algorithm. Ultimately, an object of this antenna apparatus is to improve communication quality and increase communication capacity.

The control method includes collecting positional information and transmission level values of all terminals in a cell; analyzing statistics of cell traffic using the positional information and transmission level values, and generating antenna radiation patterns on the basis of the analyzed statistics result; optimizing the antenna radiation patterns by synthesizing beam patterns; and changing antenna beam patterns according to the optimized antenna radiation patterns. According to embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to increase a channel capacity in a cell, ensure the QoS in all terminals in the cell, and reduce installation and operation costs of a base station system.

The antenna system includes a transmitting/receiving unit having a transmitting channel and a receiving channel for signal power, a driving unit for enabling mechanical motion of the rotating body for satellite tracking, and a control unit for monitoring and controlling the operation of the driving unit. Accordingly, the various kinds of the components of the antenna system mounted and operated on the movable body can be minimized and the output of the transmitted signal required in the antenna system can be simply replaced, thereby simplifying the configuration of the system and reducing the production cost of the system. In addition, the STR having the tracking signal processing function in the digital mode as well as the general analog mode is mounted on the antenna system, thereby improving accuracy of satellite tracking.

    Abstract: A light sensing panel includes a scan line transmitting a scan signal, a power source line transmitting a bias voltage, a readout line transmitting a light sensing signal and a light sensing device. The light sensing device includes a control electrode that is electrically connected to the scan line to receive the scan signal, a first current electrode that is electrically connected to the power source line to receive the bias voltage, and a second current electrode that is electrically connected to the readout line to apply a light sensing signal to the readout line when the light sensing signal senses an external light. The light sensing panel requires only one thin film transistor in order to detect a position wherein the external light is incident. Therefore, electrical coupling between devices is reduced and aperture ratio is increased, thereby enhancing a display quality.

The second electrode outputs a light-induced leakage current based on an externally provided light and the bias voltage. Therefore, the array substrate includes one light sensing switching element corresponding to one pixel so that structure of the array substrate is simplified and opening ratio is increased.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a reconfigurable hybrid antenna device. According to the present invention, the reconfigurable hybrid antenna device includes a reflective plate that reflects an incident signal and a reconfigurable power supply arrangement that includes one or more element antennas for supplying power to the reflective plate. The reconfigurable power supply arrangement has characteristics of electrical reconfiguration and physical reconfiguration of the element antennas, and reconfiguration of changing a range of radiation of signal powers radiated from the element antennas. With these characteristics of reconfiguration, it is possible to simultaneously or independently provide a plurality of mobile communication services physically using one antenna, such that it is possible to have an economical base station antenna and considerably reduce the number of temporary base stations, thereby reducing the maintenance cost of base stations.
