  • Publication number: 20190392758
Abstract: A display device including an emitting element. A first transistor includes a first electrode electrically connected to a first supply voltage line, a second electrode electrically connected to the emitting element, and a gate electrode receiving a data signal, the first transistor being configured to transfer a driving current to the emitting element based on the data signal. A capacitor is connected between the gate electrode of the first transistor and the first supply voltage line. An electric field generating element is connected between the second electrode of the first transistor and the gate electrode of the first transistor and includes ferroelectrics.

  • Publication number: 20190348478
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a display device, an apparatus for testing a display device, and a method for testing a display device. A display device includes a first substrate having a display area and a non-display area defined thereon, the non-display area being on an outer side of the display area. The non-display area may include a plurality of test pads and a first dummy thin-film transistor electrically connected to the test pads. The first dummy thin-film transistor includes a dummy gate electrode, and a dummy source electrode and a dummy drain electrode insulated from the gate electrode and spaced apart from each other. A bending area is defined on the first substrate that at least partially traverses the display area and the non-display area, the bending area overlaps the first dummy thin-film transistor.

  • Publication number: 20190318690
Abstract: A display device includes a pixel, a first control pad, a second control pad, and a first dummy pad. The pixel may emit light with luminance corresponding to a data signal. Supply of the data signal to the pixel depends on a first control signal and a second control signal. The first control pad is connected to a first control line for supplying the first control signal. The second control pad is connected to a second control line for supplying the second control signal. The first dummy pad is positioned between the first control pad and the second control pad and may receive a first dummy signal. A voltage level of the first dummy signal is in a range from a voltage level of the first control signal to a voltage level of the second control signal.

  • Publication number: 20190304378
Abstract: An organic light emitting display device includes scan lines arranged in horizontal lines, data lines intersecting the scan lines, a pixel array including pixels coupled to the scan lines and the data lines, the pixels including at least first color pixels, a panel tester including switching elements coupled to first ends of the data lines, the switching elements including at least first and second switching elements, and a first line coupled to the first switching elements and a second line coupled to the second switching elements. Data lines of K-th to (K+L)-th (where K and L are natural numbers) first color pixels arranged in a predetermined horizontal line are coupled to the first line through the first switching elements, and data lines of at least a part of remaining first color pixels arranged in the predetermined horizontal line are coupled to the second line through the second switching elements.

  • Publication number: 20190213958
Abstract: An organic light-emitting display device includes a display unit having a plurality of pixel units. The display device also includes a timing controller for calculating a black bias pixel ratio (BBPR) of the display unit based on image signals provided by an external source and for generating a control signal based on the BBPR. The BBPR is the ratio of a number of pixel units in a black state to a total number of pixel units. A power supply unit provides a driving voltage to the display unit based on the control signal from the timing controller, wherein the power supply unit provides a first driving voltage to the display unit when the BBPR is less than a reference value and provides a second driving voltage, which is higher than the first driving voltage, otherwise.

  • Patent number: 6090228
Abstract: An anticorrosive treatment method for a separator of a molten carbonate fuel cell is provided. As conventional anticorrosive treatment methods for a wet-seal area in an separator, there are a molten aluminium coating method, a physical vapor deposition method, a slurry coating method, a spray coating method, a pack cementation method and a vacuum evaporation method. Defects due to high temperature thermal treatment corrodes even stainless steel base materials to thus shorten the lifetime of the fuel cell. Further, to sufficiently assure an anticorrosive capability of the separator wet-seal area, a coating ratio should be heightened finally, which makes fabrication of the large-area separator difficult, and manufacturing costs high. To solve the conventional problems, nickel and aluminium are coated in turn on a base material of stainless steel or an thin aluminium film is coated or bonded thereon to then perform diffusion process, which simplifies a manufacturing process and lowers a manufacturing cost.
