When a prize content selected by a lottery has been registered in the given content list, it is determined that the prize content satisfies a duplication condition, and an alternative content is selected from an alternative content list, and given to the player instead of the prize content selected by the lottery. An alternative content notification screen that notifies the player that the alternative content has been given to the player is displayed.
