  • Publication number: 20150293781
Abstract: An information processing terminal including an application execution portion, a sub-application execution portion and a hidden screen display portion is provided. The application execution portion executes an application. The sub-application execution portion executes a sub-application in response to an execution request from the application execution portion. The sub-application is configured to provide a specified function for the application executed by the application execution portion. The hidden screen display portion, instead of displaying an execution screen indicating execution of the sub-application, displays a hidden screen hiding the execution of the sub-application while the sub-application execution portion is executing the sub-application.

  • Patent number: 8705763
Abstract: An in-vehicle audio device and an in-vehicle audio system are disclosed. The in-vehicle audio device acquires and registers metadata of music data from multiple music possession devices, at least one of which is a portable music carrier device capable of performing wireless communication. Regarding the metadata acquired from the portable music carrier device, the in-vehicle audio device maintains the registration of the metadata after a communication connection between the portable music carrier device and the in-vehicle audio device is cut off. The in-vehicle audio device creates a playlist based on the registered metadata.

  • Patent number: 8643240
Abstract: A superconducting rotating electrical machine has a rotor with superconducting windings and a stator disposed around the rotor. The stator has a number of teeth disposed at a regular interval about a rotational axis of the rotor to define slots each between adjacent teeth and a plurality of windings, each winding having a strip-like wire member, the wire member having a plurality of rectangular cross-section wires in which said rectangular wires are arranged in parallel to each other and electrically insulated away from each other, the winding being constructed by winding the strip-like wire member a plurality of times to have first and second winding portions having a cross section in which the rectangular wires are positioned in matrix.

  • Patent number: 8451948
Abstract: A carrier recovering apparatus, in which degradation of the demodulation performance caused when a pilot signal cannot be normally received is suppressed, includes a rotation calculator for multiplying a baseband signal and an oscillation signal and outputting a multiplied signal; a pilot signal extractor for extracting a pilot signal from the signal output from the rotation calculator; an error detection controller for outputting a phase error between the pilot signal and a reference signal as a value restricted within a given range; a loop filter for smoothing the phase error output from the error detection controller and outputting the smoothed phase error; and a variable frequency oscillator for generating a signal in accordance with the output of the loop filter and outputting the generated signal as the oscillation signal.

  • Patent number: 8190214
Abstract: An in-vehicle handsfree apparatus establishes a handsfree profile connection with at least two cellular phones. It may be determined that a first cellular phone and a second cellular phone are receiving incoming calls at the same time, or that while a first cellular phone is calling, a second cellular phone is receiving an incoming call. In such a case, based on attributes (for example, a holder or intended use) of the first and second cellular phones, a notice manner of information on incoming call or information on telephone call is differentiated, for instance, in regard to a background color of a display window.

  • Patent number: 8165192
Abstract: Tap coefficients of an FIR filter are prevented from converging to wrong values. A waveform equalizer for performing waveform equalization of an input signal and outputting a waveform equalization result as an output signal includes: an FIR filter for performing a convolution operation between the input signal and a plurality of tap coefficients; an IIR filter for performing a convolution operation between the output signal and a plurality of tap coefficients; an adding section for adding an operation result of the FIR filter and an operation result of the IIR filter and outputting an addition result as the output signal; an error detecting section for detecting an error of the output signal; and a tap coefficient updating section for updating respective tap coefficients of the FIR filter and the IIR filter based on the error.
