  • Publication number: 20150272503
Abstract: Pulse meter comprising a first electrode (4) and second electrode (5), which are adapted to be arranged in contact with a patient body part (9). The first and the second electrode (4, 5) are arranged on a first arm (1) and a second arm (2), respectively. The first and second arm (1, 2) extend out from a central portion (3), and the respective first ends (4a, 5a) of the first and second arm (1, 2) are arranged to be bent away from each other when the pulse meter (10) is being arranged into the applied position on the patient body part (9).

  • Publication number: 20150018694
Abstract: Resuscitation assembly (101) comprising a patient mask (107), a ventilation bag (105), an inflation valve (113), an exhalation valve (111), and an expiration indicator (119). The expiration indicator (119) is a positive end expiratory pressure valve in the form of a slit valve that exhibits a slit (131) in a flexible sheet part (125). Also disclosed is a resuscitation assembly (101) comprising a patient mask (107), a ventilation bag (105), an inflation valve (113), an exhalation valve (111), a positive end expiratory pressure valve (119), and a pressure sensor (133) adapted to measure pressure on the patient side (127) of the positive end expiratory pressure valve (119).

  • Publication number: 20100221689
Abstract: Medical patient simulator comprising a torso that contains an artificial lung, a chest skin and means for pulling the chest skin downward in an area corresponding with an area where such retractions occur on a human being. The simulator also provides for changes in the compliance of the lung. The lung is situated between two plates, the spacing of which can be adjusted. The torso has one actuator on each side of the back to simulate muscular activity. It includes a system for control of pneumatic functions by measuring a representative pressure for each actuator and stopping the filling when a pre-set pressure is reached. It also includes a head with one or more air cushions in a fontanelle area on the head, which may be filled with air to simulate an increased pressure in the brain.
