  • Patent number: 11366840
Abstract: A base query having a plurality of base query terms is obtained. A plurality of problem log files are accessed. Words, contained in a corpus vocabulary, are extracted from the plurality of problem log files. Based on the words extracted from the plurality of problem log files, a first expanded query is generated from the base query. The corpus is queried, via a query engine and a corpus index, with a second expanded query related to the first expanded query.

  • Patent number: 11361036
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product are disclosed for searching for data. In one embodiment, the invention provides a method comprising identifying a query and a search scope including a set of specified entities; and for each of these entities, estimating a number of documents that would be identified in a search through the entity to answer the query. On the basis of this estimating, a subset of the entities is formed. The query and this subset of entities are sent to a search engine to search the subset of entities to answer the query. In one embodiment, the estimating includes collecting statistical information from queries to build up a historical cache using heuristics or machine learning techniques, wherein the query includes a key word and a scope, and the historical cache contains a maximum number of returned results for an entity given the queries executed.

  • Publication number: 20220174980
Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for preparing feed by bacteria-enzyme synergistic fermentation, belonging to the technical field of fermentation engineering. According to the disclosure, Lactobacillus plantarum JUN-DY-6, protease and cellulase are used as a starter, and Camellia seed meal or rapeseed meal is used as a substrate. The bacteria-enzyme fermentation product has higher yield of organic acids and flavor substances and better palatability, and can be used for preparing feed additives. The L. plantarum of the disclosure can inhibit growth of harmful bacteria such as Escherichia coli, S. aureus and Salmonella in the intestinal tract of poultry and livestock, and is good for health of the intestinal tract. The method increases the added value of Camellia seed meal and rapeseed meal, and is conductive to reuse of waste.

  • Publication number: 20220172037
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide computer implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems. For example, embodiments of the present invention can, in response to receiving a request, collect trace data and specifications for a sequence of requests for normal behavior of a microservice application. Embodiments of the present invention can then generate request contextual features from the collected trace data and specification. Embodiments of the present invention can then train a neural network model based on the generated contextual features; and predicting anomalous behavior of the microservice application using the trained neural network model.

  • Patent number: 11269971
Abstract: In an approach for providing reading insight and notification on a URL with unfamiliar content for a user, a processor parses a web page to identify a URL. The URL references a subsequent web page. Prior to receiving a user interaction with the URL, a processor prefetches content of the subsequent web page. A processor determines a content domain of the prefetched content, the content domain being a summary of the prefetched content. A processor compares the content domain to a user profile, wherein the use profile is based, at least in part, on a browsing history of a user. A processor determines that the content domain is not in alignment to the user profile. A processor presents a notification to the user.

  • Publication number: 20220067539
Abstract: A method, a computer program product, and a computer system induce knowledge from a knowledge graph. The method includes receiving a request indicative of a domain. The method includes determining a corpus corresponding to the domain and determining a quality of the corpus in generating the knowledge graph relative to a quality threshold. If the quality threshold is not met, the method includes determining a candidate expansion corpus to incorporate further data therefrom into the corpus relative to an expansion threshold. If the expansion threshold is met, the method includes generating an expanded corpus by expanding the corpus with the further data. The method includes generating the knowledge graph based on the expanded corpus from which the knowledge is induced and generating a response to the request based on the knowledge graph.

  • Patent number: 11250044
Abstract: Given a skeleton knowledge graph including first terms in respective nodes, wherein first terms in connected nodes have a predetermined relationship, an augmented knowledge graph is formed by a first computing device by extracting a second term from a domain corpus to form a term cluster linked with a respective node of the knowledge graph. The second term is associated with the first term of a respective node in the domain corpus while not meeting the predetermined relationship. A semantic feature between the second term and the associated first term is identified in the domain corpus and linked to the pair of the second term and the first term in the augmented knowledge graph. The augmented knowledge graph is useable by a second computing device, which may or may not be the same as the first computing device, to drive a conversation between a chatbot and user.

  • Patent number: 11163739
Abstract: An approach for conversion between database formats (e.g., from a relational database format to a hash table or a “big table” database format) based on user data access patterns in a networked computing environment is provided. A first set of database tables having a first format is identified based on a set of access patterns stored in a computer storage device. A second set of database tables having a second database format corresponding to the first set of database tables may then be provided (e.g., accessed, augmented, and/or generated). A mapping between the first set of database tables and the second set of database tables may then be created. A column set may then be generated based on at least one condition of the set of queries. The column set may then be used as a key for the second set of database tables.

  • Publication number: 20210326636
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention provides a method for terminology ranking for use in natural language processing. The method comprises receiving a list of terms extracted from a corpus, where the list comprises a ranking of the terms based on frequencies of the terms across the corpus. The method further comprises accessing a domain ontology associated with the corpus, and re-ranking the list based on the domain ontology. The resulting re-ranked list comprises a different ranking of the terms based on relevance of the terms using knowledge from the domain ontology. The method further comprises generating clusters of terms via a trained model adapted to the corpus, and boosting a rank of at least one term of the re-ranked list based on the clusters to increase a relevance of the at least one term using knowledge from the trained model.

  • Patent number: 10979896
Abstract: A dynamic lockout technique for mobile computing devices is provided. A mobile computing device having a user interface in an active mode identifies foreign computing devices that are connected to a shared network. The mobile computing device determines determining that each foreign computing device is a recognized device, and in response, determines whether a paired device is in proximity to the mobile computing device based on a signal transmitted by the paired device. The mobile computing device maintains the active mode if the paired device is in proximity. The mobile computing device identifies a new foreign computing device that is connected to the shared network. The mobile computing device activates a lockout mode for the user interface while the paired device is in proximity to the mobile computing device if the new foreign computing device is an unrecognized device in proximity to the mobile computing device.

  • Publication number: 20210092112
Abstract: Usage information of a user for a plurality of computing devices is identified. A usage pattern for each computing device of the plurality of computing devices of the user is developed based on the identified usage information of the user. An indication of the user accessing an application on a first computing device of the plurality of computing devices is received. The application requires one or more credentials for an authentication process associated with the application. A determination is made whether the user accessing the application using the first computing device is following the developed usage pattern of the user. Responsive to determining that the user accessing the application using the first computing device is not following developed usage pattern of the user, the authentication process associated with the application is interrupted.
