Publication number: 20240146205Abstract: A flyback power converter includes a power transformer, a first lossless voltage conversion circuit, a first low-dropout linear regulator and a secondary side power supply circuit. The first low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) generates a first operation voltage as power supply for being supplied to a sub-operation circuit. The secondary side power supply circuit includes a second lossless voltage conversion circuit and a second LDO. The second LDO generates a second operation voltage. The first operation voltage and the second operation voltage are shunted to a common node. When a first lossless conversion voltage is greater than a first threshold voltage, the second LDO is enabled to generate the second operation voltage to replace the first operation voltage as power supply supplied to the sub-operation circuit; wherein the second lossless conversion voltage is lower than the first lossless switching voltage.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2023Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Shin-Li Lin, He-Yi Shu, Shih-Jen Yang, Ta-Yung Yang, Yi-Min Shiu, Chih-Ching Lee, Yu-Chieh Hsieh, Chao-Chi Chen

Publication number: 20230384211Abstract: A process tube device can detect the presence of any external materials that may reside within a fluid flowing in the tube. The process tube device detects the external materials in-situ which obviates the need for a separate inspection device to inspect the surface of a wafer after applying fluid on the surface of the wafer. The process tube device utilizes at least two methods of detecting the presence of external materials. The first is the direct measurement method in which a light detecting sensor is used. The second is the indirect measurement method in which a sensor utilizing the principles of Doppler shift is used. Here, contrary to the first method that at least partially used reflected or refracted light, the second method uses a Doppler shift sensor to detect the presence of the external material by measuring the velocity of the fluid flowing in the tube.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 28, 2023Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Yu-Jen YANG, Chung-Pin CHOU, Yan-Cheng CHEN, Kai-Lin Chuang, Jun-Xiu Liu, Sheng-Ching Kao

Publication number: 20110117195Abstract: A method for improving myocardial infarction by intramyocardial or transendocardial injection of peptide nanofibers is disclosed. The method firstly provides a pharmaceutical composition having a biologically compatible peptide hydrogel formed by a plurality of self-assembling peptide nanofibers and selectively having at least one type of autologous stem cells mixed with the self-assembling peptide nanofibers, and then the pharmaceutical composition is administered to an entire infarcted area of myocardium tissue with myocardial infarction by intramyocardial or transendocardial injection. Thus, adverse cardiac remodeling and dysfunction after acute infraction can be attenuated, while the therapeutic myocardial angiogenesis, the myocardial capillary density and potential myogenesis can be enhanced.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 18, 2009Publication date: May 19, 2011Applicant: National Cheng Kung UniversityInventors: Ching-ho Hsieh, Yi-dong Lin, Yu-jen Yang, Ming-long Yeh

Patent number: 7010704Abstract: An apparatus for dynamically adjusting power consumption of a CPU in a computer system is described. A current flowing through the limiting resistor is detected and whether or not this current is larger than a predetermined current is determined. A warning signal is issued when the current is larger than this predetermined signal. The warning signal triggers the software framework and the hardware framework of the apparatus to issue an asynchronous operation frequency reduction instruction to the CPU of the computer system.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2002Date of Patent: March 7, 2006Assignee: Quanta Computer Inc.Inventors: Yu-Jen Yang, Cheng-Ting Liu
