Abstract: An adjustment apparatus for regulating the inclination angle of a spindle motor of an optical disk drive is disclosed. The spindle motor is mounted on a driving circuit board which is mounted in a traverse module. The adjustment apparatus comprises an optic axis regulating tool for containing the traverse module and regulating the inclination angle of the spindle motor. The top surface of the optic axis regulating tool has an opening to expose the spindle motor and a guide rail of the traverse module. A standard plate is placed against on the guide rail, wherein the upper surface of the standard plate is in parallel with the guide rail. A comparable turning wheel is placed to cover the spindle motor, wherein the upper surface of the comparable turning wheel is in parallel with the rotation plane of the spindle motor and a plurality of turbine-like blades are set at the edge of the comparable turning wheel.

Abstract: A fixture for mounting a CPU into a portable-type computer system having a motherboard with a mounting location is provided. The fixture includes a first device, a second device and a third device. The first device is responsive to a force and re-directs the force to a predetermined force-taking location of the CPU. The second device supports the first device and includes a through-hole. The third device is connected to the second means and positions the CPU onto the mounting location such that a predetermined alignment relationship between the CPU and the mounting location is maintained.

Abstract: The fixture for dismounting a CPU from a portable-type computer system having a motherboard with a CPU-mounting location is provided. The fixture includes a first device capable of displacing, a second device and a third device. The second device receives the first device and limits the displacement of the first device. The third device is responsive to an external force and forces the first device to make displacement such that CPU is dismounted from the motherboard.
