  • Publication number: 20230314641
Abstract: A high-power seismic wave early warning method is provided to use an earliest-arriving seismic wave to estimate a maximum power value of a later-arriving high-power seismic wave for a target site. When the estimated maximum power value of the later-arriving high-power seismic wave is greater than a warning value, an earthquake early warning is transmitted to an earthquake early warning device that is located at the target site.

  • Publication number: 20180312791
Abstract: A reaction device for a tiny organism includes a chamber, a first support plate, a second support plate and a separation plate. The tiny organism and a culture medium are added in the chamber. The first support plate is disposed on an opening of the chamber. The second support plate is disposed on one side opposite to the side on which the first support plate is disposed, and a third hole and a fourth hole separately correspond to a first hole and a second hole of the first support plate. A first end of the separation plate is located inside the chamber, the first end of the separation plate is spaced from the bottom of the chamber by a predetermined distance, a second end of the separation plate passes through the first support plate to connect to the second support plate.

  • Patent number: 9112303
Abstract: Embodiments of magnetic connectors are disclosed. Embodiments show the use of magnetic connectors for power and/or signal bus coupling to electronic devices from support bases, stands, or cables. In some embodiments, spherical contacts, such as ball bearings, are pressed into firm contact with an electronic device by the use of conductive springs, which in turn electrically couple the spherical contacts to the bus lines. Contact arrangements are shown which allow rotation of the electronic device against an embodiment of magnetic connector. Arrangements of multiple magnets having differing polarities are shown when alignment of an electronic device in a particular orientation is required.

  • Publication number: 20120248309
Abstract: A specimen grid holder includes a base and two holding members disposed thereon. Each holding member has at least one inserting portion and at least one holding portion formed adjacently. The specimen grid can be inserted into the inserting portion and moved to the holding portion for securement. The two holding members can be used to secure specimens at different orientations for analyses.

  • Publication number: 20110125233
Abstract: An apparatus for cooling a tissue is provided, which includes a temperature control module, a hypothermic catheter, and a cooling member. The temperature control module includes a regulation unit, a temperature sensor, a processor, a display unit, and a refrigerator. The regulation unit is used to regulate a predetermined temperature. The temperature sensor is used to measure a reference temperature of the tissue. The processor is used to calculate a difference between the predetermined temperature and the reference temperature as a feedback to control the output of a cooling source. The display unit is used to display the temperature information. The refrigerator is used to output the cooling source. The hypothermic catheter includes a primary cooling pipe, to transport the cooling source; and a secondary cooling pipe. The cooling member makes contact with the tissue to reduce its temperature.
