  • Publication number: 20180162747
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for generating hydroxyl radical and removing organic pollutants in water by utilizing an organic membrane. The inventive method generates hydroxyl radical by adopting a nitrocellulose membrane as a photocatalytic material, placing the nitrocellulose membrane in water, illuminating with the sun or a sunlamp having a wavelength above 280 nm as a light source, and causing the nitrocellulose membrane to undergo a photochemical reaction at the membrane surface, and the generation rate of hydroxyl radical can be achieved by adjusting the surface area of the membrane and a light intensity. The generated hydroxyl radical can remove phenol, bisphenol A, thiamphenicol and other typical organic pollutants in water very well.

  • Publication number: 20160260216
Abstract: The invention provides a method for quantitative analysis of nuclear medicine brain imaging. The method comprises retrieving a target image, wherein the target image is a brain image as a nuclear medicine image produced from a radiopharmaceutical, then matching the position of a space axis and the size of a voxel of the target image to a standard template by an affine transformation, wherein the standard template comprises a relative position of striatum. The method further comprises selecting the striatum from the target image according to the relative position of the striatum in the standard template and calculating an average value of the striatum, dividing the striatum from the target image and calculating a background value based on a remainder pixel value of the target image, and a specific uptake ratio is calculated based on the average value of the striatum and the background value.

  • Publication number: 20160252515
Abstract: A general methodology for highly sensitive and selective sensors and devices that can achieve portable, low-cost and quantitative detection of target enzymes and metabolites using a personal glucose meter (PGM) is disclosed. The method and sensors take advantage of the ability of PGMs to detect enzyme cofactors or coenzymes, such as nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH). Based on this observation, enzymes and metabolites involved in enzymatic reactions that consume or generate a coenzyme such as NADH or NADPH can be detected using PGMs, for example by measuring increases or decreases in NADH or NADPH levels. Methods of using such sensors and fluidic devices for detecting target enzymes and metabolites, for example to diagnose disease, are also provided.

  • Patent number: 9429297
Abstract: A backlight refraction lens includes a body formed with an incident face and an emergent face, wherein the incident face has a raised periphery and an axis formed with an angle with an axis of the body, the angle, between the axis of the incident face and the axis of the body, set between 35 degrees to 65 degrees such that the ray light going into the body along an incident angle within 15-45 degrees is mostly projected from the emergent face after being refracted. The backlight refraction lens promotes the visibility and identification of objects on the outdoor kanban board when the outdoor kanban board is in a backlight condition such that the conventional LEDs are unnecessary to the outdoor kanban board that has a series of backlight refraction lens in accordance with the present invention mounted thereon.
