    Abstract: A blocking material is selectively deposited on a bottom surface of a back end of line (BEOL) conductive structure such that a barrier layer is selectively deposited on sidewalls of the BEOL conductive structure but not the bottom surface. The blocking material is etched such that copper from a conductive structure underneath is exposed, and a ruthenium layer is deposited on the barrier layer but less ruthenium is deposited on the exposed copper. Accordingly, the barrier layer prevents diffusion of metal ions from the BEOL conductive structure and is substantially absent from the bottom surface as compared to the sidewalls in order to reduce contact resistance. Additionally, the ruthenium layer reduces surface roughness within the BEOL conductive structure and is thinner at the bottom surface as compared to the sidewalls in order to reduce contact resistance.

The intermediate ring connects to the bottom wall via an inner wall surface. The sorting unit includes a sorting ring and a protruding ring. The sorting ring includes a central hole for a sorting filter that filters the semen specimen and is beveled at an angle that increases a permeable surface of the sorting filter. The protruding ring connects to the sorting ring via an inner sleeve surface. The sperm sorting device enhances sperm sorting quality by allowing the motile sperms to swim upward through the first sorting filter naturally.

    Abstract: A device and method for preparing in-situ molded biochar with high specific surface area. Crushed and mixed biomass and modifier are fed into a hot pressing and pyrolysis device, and hot-pressing molding and pyrolysis carbonization are completed synchronously, which solves the problem of multiple steps and complicated equipment in the existing preparation process for molded biochar material. In-situ bonding molding is realized by adhesion, bridging, cross-linking and mechanical interlocking functions of low-temperature molten & softened lignin and pyrolytic tar. No additional cross-linking agent is needed in this process, so the production cost is low. Covering and suffocating actions of trace flame retardant modifier are utilized to reduce the temperature of biomass pyrolysis carbonization, inhibit excessive ablation and accelerate polycondensation reaction, thus to improve the specific surface area and yield of a product, and improve the cost performance of the product.
