    Abstract: A sunshade assembly has a main frame having a canopy, a plurality of ribs, a shaft, a runner, and a plurality of stretchers. The main frame is connected to a wall or stand by a connecting device. The connecting device includes a seat secured to the wall or stand, and a connecting tube having a first end pivotally connected to the seat. The connecting tube is adjustable in an overall length thereof. The connecting tube further has a second end for engaging with an upper end of the shaft of the main frame.
