  • Patent number: 9774774
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus includes a lens, an image sensor, an optical filter, and a driving device. The lens focuses light beams from at least one subject to form an optical image, and the image sensor receives the optical image and converts the optical image into at least one electric signal. The optical filter includes a first plate and a second plate, the first plate is disposed between the lens and the image sensor, and the second plate is disposed between the first plate and the image sensor. The driving device moves the second plate. The second plate has substantially the same index of refraction as the first plate, and a thickness of the second plate is continuously decreased or increased across the second plate.

  • Patent number: 7477799
Abstract: An image shifting module for shifting imaging positions of sub-images projected on a screen in each frame, and an optical projection device using the same are provided. The image shifting module includes a first vibration mechanism and a second vibration mechanism. The first vibration mechanism is disposed on the transmission path of the sub-images and shifts the sub-images projected on the screen by a first distance along a horizontal direction in each frame time. Moreover, the second vibration mechanism is disposed on the transmission path of the sub-images and shifts the sub-images projected on the screen by a second distance along a vertical direction in each frame time. Through this image shifting module, the image resolution can be increased.

  • Publication number: 20070283372
Abstract: The present invention discloses an adjusting mechanism of guide rod for an optical disk drive. The adjusting mechanism includes at least a guide rod for supporting an optical pickup head, an adjusting member and an elastic member. The adjusting member is set to be adjacent to the guide rod, and the elastic member provides elasticity to the guide rod to press the guide rod on a side surface of the adjusting member. The guide rod is moved to be close or away from a spindle motor by the adjusting member and in turn to adjust the off-center distance between the spindle motor and a laser beam emitted from the optical pickup head to improve the reading accuracy and efficiency of the optical pickup head.

  • Publication number: 20050178948
Abstract: A projection method of display device is to divide high-resolution pixels into a plurality of image-forming units with equal pixels in an appropriate arrangement. A light valve has the same resolution as the image-forming unit, and each pixel thereon is a diamond shape. The diamond pixels are close to one another and staggered in alternate rows. By oscillating the projection path of the light valve, the image-forming position of the light vale produces an appropriate shift. The light valve projects different images corresponding to the position of image-forming units and oscillates quickly such that a cheap and low-resolution light valve can be used to project a high-resolution image and smoothes the edges of the image.
