  • Publication number: 20220376676
Abstract: A high-isolation and anti-glue-invasion Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) duplexer includes a transmitting filter and a receiving filter. The isolation of the duplexer is improved by adjusting the positions of parallel resonance arms of the receiving filter and optimizing the distances between a grounding metal wiring of a Double Mode Structure (DMS) filter in the receiving filter and other grounding metal wirings and a distance between the grounding metal wiring of the DMS filter in the receiving filter and a signal metal wiring, and the grounding metal wiring is further arranged to surround the series resonance arms and the parallel resonance arms, so as to fill blank positions between the resonance arms and the edge of a package.

  • Publication number: 20220255532
Abstract: A duplexer is provided with high isolation and high steepness on low-frequency side of a receiving band, including an antenna terminal, a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal arranged on a piezoelectric substrate, where a transmitting filter is connected between the antenna terminal and the transmitting terminal; a receiving filter, with a series arm and multiple parallel arms connected to the series arm, is connected between the antenna terminal and the receiving terminal; the series arm is provided with a DMS filter and multiple series arm resonators; each parallel arm is provided with a parallel arm resonator; and the DMS filter is in common ground connection with all the parallel arm resonators of the receiving filter. The duplexer can better improve the passband isolation and increase the steepness on the low-frequency side of the high passband without additional components and structural complexity, thereby improving performance and providing high practicability.

  • Patent number: 10044110
Abstract: Techniques for providing multiple antennas in a wireless device using a compact configuration to achieve good isolation and broad bandwidth. In an aspect, first and second monopole elements that may be separately driven are provided on opposite sides of a grounding strip conductively coupled to a common grounding structure. By capacitively coupling the first and second monopole elements to the common grounding structure, the effective resonator size of each monopole antenna is increased, thus achieving better performance for the antenna structure. Illustrative patterns for the common grounding structure and other antenna elements are further disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20170244166
Abstract: A dual resonator antenna device may include a ground plane positioned adjacent a substrate and may include a first aperture and a second aperture exposing the substrate therethrough. The device may also include an antenna feed positioned in the first aperture. A monopole resonator is coupled to the antenna feed and has a portion near at least one edge of the substrate proximate the second aperture and another portion near the substrate and the ground plane in a direction perpendicular to the ground plane. The device may also include a tunable loop resonator within the first aperture and coupled to the antenna feed and the ground plane.

  • Patent number: 9742076
Abstract: A multi-band antenna having an aperture tuner is disclosed. The multi-band antenna may simultaneously transmit a first radio frequency (RF) signal and a second RF signal. The aperture tuner may modify a resonant frequency associated with one or more antenna elements of the multiband antenna in accordance with the first RF signal or the second RF signal. One or more of the antenna elements of the multi-band antenna may be disposed above and/or substantially parallel to other antenna elements. In some exemplary embodiments, an air gap may be formed between one or more antenna elements.
