Abstract: A technology for flushing a translation lookaside buffer (TLB) according to a designated key identification code (designated key ID). An instruction of an instruction set architecture is proposed to flush the TLB according to the designated key ID. A decoder transforms the instruction into at least one microinstruction. According to a flushing microinstruction included in the at least one microinstruction, a designated key ID is supplied to a control logic circuit of the TLB through a memory order buffer, so that the control logic circuit flushes matched entries in the TLB, wherein the matched entries match the designated key ID.

Abstract: A ride-sharing system may include a database configured to maintain a plurality of shuttle routes for ride-sharing and a server configured to receive a ride-sharing request indicating desire to join a ride-share and including a maximum walk distance to a pick-up or drop-off location of the desired route, and transmit, in response to the ride-sharing request, at least one selected route having a route walk distance to the pick-up or drop-off location not exceeding the maximum walk distance.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving, from a passenger mobile device, a request message indicative of a passenger request for transportation services, determining, based on the request message, an updated estimated wait time (EWT) to accommodate the passenger, determining, based on the first EWT, a probability value indicative of whether the passenger mobile device will send an acceptance of a ride offer for passenger transport, generating, based on the probability value and a reference transportation mode, a price for the ride offer, and sending a proposal message to the passenger mobile device, the proposal message comprising the ride offer, the price for the ride offer, and an itinerary comprising pickup information, and distance information.

Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving a first set of data comprising financial data of a company and at least one of holiday data, industrial event data, or weather data. A probabilistic hotel demand forecast is computed for a hotel in a location based on a statistical analysis of prior hotel stays at the hotel in the location with an adjustment based on at least the financial data of the first set of data. The adjustment can be computed by the computer based on a prior effect of at least the financial data on a number of prior hotel stays. The resulting probabilistic hotel demand forecast can be displayed on a user terminal device. This forecast may be used to generate a future pricing strategy.

Abstract: A dental composition comprises a fluorescent whitening agent. The fluorescent whitening agent is most preferably 4,4?-bis(2-sulfostryryl)bipheny) or a salt or other soluble derivative thereof, eg the disordium salt. The composition may also comprise an additional tooth whitening agent. Methods of whitening the teeth are also described.
