  • Publication number: 20070244607
Abstract: A multifunctional automotive remote control unit includes a housing and a bilateral control circuit positioned within the housing. The housing includes a plurality of operating keys and a LCD display that are electrically coupled to the bilateral control circuit, and one of the operating keys serves as a control key for choosing a desired function. In addition to the circuit required by the automotive remote control unit, the bilateral control circuit further includes a signal-receiving unit for receiving signals transmitted by the tire pressure detector on the tire and then transmitting the received signals to a microprocessor for further processing, thereby displaying the tire pressure value on the LCD display 13 and giving out a warning signal in case of abnormal tire pressure so that a tire pressure displaying and warning unit is created.

  • Publication number: 20060125613
Abstract: A tire pressure detector and alarm system is disclosed to include a battery-operated tire pressure detector installed in the air valve of a vehicle wheel and controlled by a control switch formed of a metal probe and a diaphragm held metal conductor member for providing a radio alarm signal when tire pressure low, a locking device installed in the air valve of the vehicle wheel to lock the tire pressure detector to the air valve, and a receiver and alarm unit directly connectable to the socket for cigarette lighter for receiving radio alarm signal from the tire pressure detector and display the signal.

  • Patent number: 6993962
Abstract: An electronic wireless tire pressure monitoring apparatus is provided to install on an inflation valve on a tire for a direct signal transmission and a reliable detection. A pressure sensor is configured as a chip type semiconductor sensor and directly wire-bonded to a circuit board. Meanwhile, the pressure sensor is fixed by the pinch pin and the pinch pin holder in place, thereby defining an airtight chamber to allow for an accurate detection of the tire pressure with the pressure sensor. Moreover, the pinch pin and the pinch pin holder are used as electrically conducting means for power supply when the tire pressure detector is screwed on the tire valve. A disconnection is easily achieved when unscrewed. Therefore, the power-saving effect is achieved and no signals are falsely transmitted.
