  • Publication number: 20060228324
Abstract: The present invention relates to provide decorative printing on a surface of polymeric gel materials. The printing methods can be pad printing, or screen-printing and heat transfer printing. The polymeric gel material is also capable of releasing a fragrance. The gel air freshener can be hang on the rear mirror inside the vehicles and also can stick any smooth surface such as window glass, ceramic tile, polished plastic and metals. The polymeric gel air freshener of this invention contains thermoplastic rubber copolymers, hydrocarbon oil, fragrances and functional additives. The invention further provides methods of making articles manufacture that the gel air freshener includes ornament beads and a string or elastic string through a loop to suspend the air freshener. The ornamental beads can be a variety of shapes, each having through-holes for stringing on the tie string. The materials selected for the ornament bead can be any polymers, which can be optionally impregnated with fragrance.

  • Publication number: 20050192378
Abstract: Printing inks can be applied on the substrate of thermoplastic rubber compounds containing more than eighty percent (80%) mineral oil. The compositions of the ink include resins, mineral oil, solvents, colorants, and additives. The process involves preparing an optional base coat treatment on the substrate of the thermoplastic rubber compound. Next, print the desired multi-color image on the treated substrate following with a top coat on the surface of the substrate to protect the printed image. Pad printing is the process to print the image to surface of thermoplastic rubber compounds.

  • Publication number: 20040185066
Abstract: An antifreeze gel composition is provided which particularly useful to prevent ice formation. The composition includes a water-soluble antifreeze agent such as sorbitol, dextrose; gel forming agent; catalysts; and additives. The present invention further provides a rigid, good transparent gel. The advantage of the hard gel is to provide multi-color printing images on the surface of the deformable container. The method of printing process can be either screen printed or pad printing. The hard gel was formed by two-part reaction between gum and cross-linking agents. The hardness of the container is below 30 A and the elongation of the container is over 1100%. The container is soft, stretchable, and it is a closed system.
