  • Publication number: 20080317197
Abstract: A radiological imaging apparatus includes an imaging apparatus having an opening for insertion of a bed thereinto, and an attenuation correction data creating device. The imaging has a plurality of radiation detectors disposed around the opening and a plurality of gamma ray generation units residing between the opening and the radiation detectors disposed at a position nearest to the opening and being placed in a longitudinal direction of the bed. Each ?-ray generation unit has ?-ray sources of single photon emission nuclear species and is arranged to externally radiate a ?-ray alternately from either one of the ?-ray generators toward the opening. The data creator prepares attenuation correction data based on a detection signal as output from the radiation detector due to the incoming radiation of ?-rays from the ?-ray generator.

  • Patent number: 7442937
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a radiation imaging apparatus and radiation-imaging-apparatus-based nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus having a collimator in which a plurality of rectangular through-holes are arranged in a grid pattern and separated by septa is rotated through a predetermined angle as viewed from above in relation to the layout of a plurality of rectangular detectors that are arranged in a grid pattern. The predetermined angle ranges from 20 to 70 degree and more preferably from 30 deg to 60 deg. With this configuration, the influence of sensitivity variations (moire patterns) that are included in an image picked up due to interference with a collimator when pixel type detectors are used is eliminated.

  • Publication number: 20080078937
Abstract: A radiation imaging system is configured by a collimator 30A including a detector 21 with a discrete detection pixel corresponding with a pixel and a plurality of radiation passages 31 and looks into a plurality of detectors 21 through one radiation passage 31 to set a step width of rotation around a rotation center axis X1 only for an angle ?p made by lines provided by connecting a center detector 21 of the radiation passage 31 and the adjacent two detectors 21. In the case of generating a flat plane projection image for one direction, radio-graphing is carried out on a projection image in a plurality of predetermined angle positions (??p, 0, +?p) in the circumferential direction of the rotation center axis X1 and thereby one plane projection image is obtained.

  • Patent number: 7344350
Abstract: The invention discloses a transporting apparatus that transmits a drive force to a transported object in a state where the transported object is supported by a air-supplying-type support apparatus. In one implementation thereof, a device for transferring drive force to a transported object transfers drive force to one side in the width direction, which is perpendicular to the transporting direction. In another implementation thereof, the transporting apparatus can be switched between a horizontal state in which the transported object is supported substantially horizontally, and an upright state.

  • Patent number: 7329299
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a plate-shaped work piece transporting apparatus that has a fan, a dust-removal filter disposed above this fan, and a plate-shape porous member disposed above the dust-removal filter. By forming a chamber in which air can accumulate between the porous member and the dust-removal filter, it is possible to suppress air pulsations. Further, by providing support members on the porous member, the plate-shaped work piece can be supported and damage thereto can be avoided when the plate-shaped work piece, which is supported by air from the fan, drops to below a set height.
