  • Patent number: 9164502
Abstract: A five-axis control machine tool stores rotation-axis data indicating the inclination or runouts of each of a rotation axis A of a tilting table and a rotation axis C of a rotating table in association with rotation angles determined based on NC data, and calculates a correction rotation angle of each of the rotation angles A and C to correct the erroneous attitude of a tool. Five-axis control is performed based on the NC data by rotating the tilting table and the rotating table about the rotation axes A and C at the correction rotation angles, so that a workpiece is machined while eliminating the erroneous attitude of the tool.

  • Publication number: 20140366928
Abstract: Light receiving elements of a back connection type including first and second electrodes on their back sides are connected by an inter-element connecting body including a tabular main body section and an inter-element connecting section to form a light receiving element module. The main body section is selectively directly connected to the first electrode and arranged on the second electrode via an insulating layer. The main body section covers substantially the entire back side of each of the light receiving elements excluding a part of the second electrode. The second electrode is connected to the inter-element connecting section of an adjacent light receiving element. The main body section forms a reflecting section between the main body section and the light receiving element to enable reflected light to be made incident on the light receiving element from a gap between the first and second electrodes.

  • Patent number: 8812502
Abstract: Music contents assigned to play lists are reproduced so as to correspond to user's preference. A music content database 7 has stored a plurality of music contents. A CPU 3 creates genre ranks such that music contents that have been more frequently, for example, reproduced are more highly ranked. In addition, the CPU 3 creates play lists corresponding, for example, to tempos and stores the created play lists in a play list database 8. The CPU 3 selects a play list corresponding to a moving tempo obtained from a tempo detection section 9 and selects music content categorized as a highly ranked genre in the genre ranks from those corresponding to the selected play list. The selected music content is supplied to a decoder and amplifier section 12 and then reproduced from a head phone 14.

  • Publication number: 20130307832
Abstract: A stable address operation is performed also when a plasma display panel having a high definition and large screen is driven. For this purpose, a driving method of a plasma display panel is provided. The panel is driven by forming one field using a plurality of subfields each of which has an address period and a sustain period in which sustain pulses varying from a base potential to a voltage at which a sustain discharge is caused in the discharge cell having undergone the address discharge are applied to the display electrode pairs. In the driving method, after generation of the final sustain pulse in the sustain period, an up-ramp waveform voltage which increases from the base potential to a predetermined voltage is applied to the scan electrodes. The predetermined voltage is set lower than the voltage of the sustain pulses.

  • Publication number: 20130002628
Abstract: In a plasma display apparatus displaying a stereoscopic image, crosstalk is reduced and an address discharge is caused stably. For this purpose, in the plasma display apparatus displaying a stereoscopic image, each field has a plurality of subfields, each having a sustain period where an up-ramp waveform voltage is applied to the scan electrodes after all the sustain pulses are generated. The luminance weights of the respective subfields are set such that the subfield having the lightest luminance weight is generated first in each field, the subfield having the heaviest luminance weight is generated second, and the third subfield and those thereafter have luminance weights sequentially decreasing. The up-ramp waveform voltage in the sustain period of the first subfield in each field is generated so as to have a gradient gentler than that of the up-ramp waveform voltage in the sustain periods of the subfields generated second and thereafter.

  • Patent number: 8222569
Abstract: A heat treating apparatus utilizes a straightening plate provided in its central part with a gas exhaust opening and disposed under a heating plate. A temperature-reducing purge ring is disposed between the face plate and the straightening plate, and is provided in its inner circumference with plural gas jetting holes. A thin gap is formed between the temperature-reducing purge ring and the face plate. When a cooling gas is jetted radially inward through the gas jetting holes, a vacuum is created between the lower surface of the face plate and the upper surface of the temperature-reducing purge ring. Air is sucked into the space between the face plate and the straightening plate and flows together with the cooling gas to rapidly cool the face plate.
