    Abstract: There is provided a technique for easily determining a position of a page that is displayed in an electronic document. A television receiver (1) includes a table-of-contents image generating unit (112) that generates a table-of-contents image which represents a table of contents of an electronic document and which is to be displayed on a display, the table of contents having two or more layers; and a text image generating unit (113) that generates a text image which represents a text of the electronic document and which is to be displayed on the display. The table-of-contents image generating unit changes an upper-level item that is opened in a generated table-of-contents image to a changed upper-level item, in response to a change of an upper-level item including an item corresponding to the text image generated by the text image generating unit.
