  • Publication number: 20240116414
Abstract: One aspect of the present disclosure is a vehicle seat including a lower arm fixed to a cushion frame, and a recliner coupled to a back frame and to the lower arm and configured to cause the back frame to pivot relative to the lower arm. The lower arm includes a recliner plate. The recliner plate includes an impact absorbing hole located in a position lower than a rotational center-axis of the recliner, a first bead extending from the impact absorbing hole to the seat rear side and curved so as to protrude along a thickness of the recliner plate, and a second bead extending from the impact absorbing hole to a seat front side and curved so as to protrude along the thickness of the recliner plate. A protruding direction of the second bead is opposite to a protruding direction of the first bead.

  • Patent number: 10654436
Abstract: One example of a sliding device for a vehicle seat that can reduce false detection by a sensor is disclosed. The sliding device includes a fixed rail fixed to a vehicle; a movable rail, to which the vehicle seat is directly or indirectly fixed, that is slidable relative to the fixed rail; a mounting bracket having a fixed portion directly or indirectly fixed to the movable rail, and an extending portion extending from the fixed portion to a front side of the seat; a sensor fixed to the mounting bracket and displaced with the movable rail to detect a position of the movable rail; and a restrictor located closer to the front side of the seat than the fixed portion is. The restrictor restricts a displacement of the sensor by contacting the mounting bracket or the sensor when the extending portion is displaced in excess of a predefined extent.

  • Patent number: 10518664
Abstract: Disclosed is one example of a vehicle seat that can inhibit a large displacement of a cushion frame along a seat-width axis. The vehicle seat includes a cushion frame; a bracket coupled to a vehicle body; a lifter link that couples the cushion frame to the bracket and supports the cushion frame; and a first restrictor included in the bracket. The bracket is configured to couple the cushion frame to the vehicle body. The lifter link is pivotable along a front-rear axis of the seat with an upper end of the lifter link being pivotably coupled to the cushion frame and a lower end of the lifter link being pivotably coupled to the bracket. The first restrictor restricts a displacement of the lifter link along the seat-width axis in response to an abutment of the first restrictor against a first abutting portion included in the lifter link.

  • Patent number: 10351021
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle seat fastening structure that enables a reduced length of a bolt for fastening a movable rail and a cushion frame in a spaced-apart manner. The cushion frame includes a bottom wall extending in a seat-width direction and a seat front-rear direction. The nut includes a body having a cylindrical shape and configured to penetrate the bottom wall, a thread groove, and a flange portion projecting radially from the body. A length of the nut along a central axis thereof is greater than a separation distance between an upper surface of the movable rail and an upper surface of the bottom wall of the cushion frame in a state in which no impact is applied to the cushion frame. The flange portion is provided in an area of the nut at a distance from an insertion opening for the bolt greater than the separation distance.
