  • Patent number: 6587045
Abstract: The position of an operated winker lever (104) is held by a moderation pin (108) and a moderation ridge portion (151). Further, a position detection means detects a position at which the winker lever (104) is held. Moreover, a projection portion (121) and a guide portion, which respectively interlock with an operating plate (131) of a solenoid (103) and a winker lever (104), are engaged with each other. Thus, as the magnetized operating plate (131) moves, the winker lever (104) is returned to a neutral position.

  • Patent number: 6222142
Abstract: A combination switch device having lever switch units mounted to a circuit board having an electronic control unit. The lever switch units each include a casing on which a lever is movably mounted, and a housing containing switch side terminals which communicate with switch contacts on the casing. The combination switch device includes a body formed with fitting parts on which the lever switch units are mounted. Circuit board side terminals are provided on the fitting parts so as to contact the switch side terminals upon engagement of the lever switch units with the body. The casing and housing have a pair of parallel fitting faces and a pair of parallel flexible support plates, respectively, a locking hole provided on either the fitting faces or the support plates, and a locking projection for inserting in the locking hole. The locking projection is smaller than the locking hole to be movably undetachable, so that the switch side terminals and the housings are movably fitted to the casings.

  • Patent number: 5977494
Abstract: A combination switch device for use in conjunction with an automobile steering column. The device has a switch body into which at least one lever switch is engage so that it may be easily detached from the body. To this end, the lever switch includes at joining-side electrical terminal for electrically connecting the lever switch to a wiring and connecting means which is fixedly incorporated into the switch body when the lever switch is engaged with the switch body. The wiring and connecting means is formed of bus bars integral to the switch body. The combination switch also includes a control unit which is electrically connected to the wiring and connecting means for receiving output signals from the lever switch. The control unit is electrically connected to the lever switch through the wiring and connecting means and joining-side connecting terminals when the lever switch is engaged in the switch body.

  • Patent number: 5263871
Abstract: A connecting device in which female and male connectors mounted respectively, for example, on a dashboard and an instrument panel are fitted and connected together simultaneously when the instrument panel is mounted on the dashboard, and a dimensional error in the connection between the female and male connectors is absorbed, thereby preventing damage to terminals and the housing. The male connector (A), holding a plurality of female terminals (16), is attached to the dashboard (a) or the instrument panel (d), and the female connector (B), holding a plurality of male terminals (21), is attached to the other. The male connector is movable toward and away from the female connector utilizing a connector holder (D).
