  • Patent number: 7847754
Abstract: The program of the present invention is an image processing program for causing a computer to display images using a plurality of display devices, wherein the image processing program causes the computer to perform the steps of: (a) dividing a virtual space into a plurality of areas; (b) associating display device selection information with each of the plurality of areas for selecting on which of the plurality of display devices an image is to be displayed; (c) judging in which of the plurality of areas a mobile object existing in the virtual space is positioned; (d) acquiring the display device selection information associated with the area in which the mobile object is positioned; and (e) displaying the mobile object in a display device corresponding to the display device selection information acquired at step (d) among the plurality of display devices.

  • Patent number: 5979880
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of installing spiral hangers for hanging a cable on a messenger wire installed between a pair of electric utility poles. One end of a spiral hanger is first movably attached to the messenger wire in the vicinity of one of the electric utility poles. The spiral hanger has an inner diameter greater than the sum of the outer diameter of the messenger wire and the outer diameter of the cable. Subsequently, the spiral hanger is transported toward the other of the electric utility poles, and the other end of the spiral hanger is joined to one end of a succeeding spiral hanger through use of a joint sleeve. Above-described operations are repeated, and the spiral hangers are fixed to the messenger wire through use of fixing devices when the first spiral hanger arrives at the other of the electric utility poles.

  • Patent number: 5727777
Abstract: In a method of hanging a cable by using spiral hangers on a messenger wire installed between a pair of electric utility poles, one end of a spiral hanger and a leading end of a pull rope are connected to a leading pulley in the vicinity of one of the electric utility poles. A spiral hanger having an inner diameter greater than the sum of the outer diameter of the messenger wire and the outer diameter of the cable is transported toward the other of the electric utility poles while surrounding the messenger wire and the pull rope. The other end of the spiral hanger is connected to one end of a succeeding spiral hanger by using a joint sleeve, and this operation is repeated. When the leading pulley arrives at the other of the electric utility poles, the spiral hangers are fixed to the messenger wire using fixing devices. After that, the pull rope is pulled so as to pull the cable connected to the tail end of the pull rope through the spiral hangers.

  • Patent number: 5683642
Abstract: A PC strand is formed by twisting peripheral wires made of deformed PC steel wires around a core, and allowing rust inhibitive material of thermoplastic resin to permeate into voids defined among the core and peripheral wires by use of an extruder. Since at least one of the core and peripheral wires is made of a deformed PC steel wire having an uneven outer surface, the thermoplastic resin can smoothly permeate deep into the inside of the PC strand.

  • Patent number: 5670208
Abstract: A PC strand is coated with rust inhibitive material of thermoplastic resin so as to wholly close spaces left around a core and peripheral wires twisted around the core, thus preventing the core and wires from rusting. The strand coated with the rust inhibitive material can be produced without being untwisted by use of an extruding machine having an auxiliary pressure head connected to a cross head.
