  • Patent number: 5600193
Abstract: In a motor, there are provided, integral with a motor cover covering the opening of a motor case: arm holding parts for holding brush arms; a PTC holding part for holding a PTC such that the side thereof is in contact with the brush arm; a first hole into which a connecting wire body, which serves as an external circuit terminal, is inserted so as to come into contact with a connecting part of the brush arm, the connecting part of the brush arm touching a hypothetical curved surface extending from the inner wall of the first hole; and a second hole into which a connecting wire body, which serves as an external circuit terminal, is inserted so as to come into contact with the side of the PTC, the side of the PTC touching a hypothetical curved surface extending from the inner wall of the second hole.

  • Patent number: 4757483
Abstract: An analog clock comprises an oscillator circuit for producing a signal having a predetermined frequency, a circuit for frequency-dividing the output signal of the oscillator circuit so as to produce a clock pulse signal and adjustment pulse signals having a period different from that of the clock pulse signal, a manipulation part for producing an adjustment instruction signal responsive to a time adjustment made in the manipulation part, a circuit for producing a driving pulse signal from one of the clock pulse signal and the adjustment pulse signals depending on the adjustment instruction signal and for supplying the driving pulse signal to a coil for forward rotation or to a coil for reverse rotation, and a stepping motor having a rotor which is rotated in the forward (or reverse) direction by a predetermined angle responsive to an excitation of the coil for forward (or reverse) rotation by one pulse of the driving pulse signal. Hands of the analog clock are rotated by the rotation of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4604544
Abstract: In a piezoelectric pressure indicator comprising a casing, a pressure receiving member at the bottom of the casing, piezoelectric elements mounted on the pressure receiving member, an acceleration compensating weight and acceleration compensating piezoelectric elements, both piezoelectric elements being connected such that the voltage produced thereby cancel with each other, thereby compensating for an effect of acceleration, an uppermost acceleration compensating element is formed with a perforation, and a lead wire for deriving the voltage is connected to the electrode of a lower imperforate acceleration compensating piezoelectric element to extend through the perforation of the imperforated element. In a modification, the pressure receiving member is covered by a heat resistant protective layer made of ceramic.

  • Patent number: 4586838
Abstract: A handy type printer with dry cells incorporated therein in which an arrangement consisting of dry cells and a paper feed motor aligned, a screw shaft for sliding a head therealong and a head-driving motor are disposed in the order named in parallel with each other; the ends of a platen and the head-driving screw shaft are supported by first and second shaft bearing members, respectively; and a plurality of reduction gears are rotatably mounted on the first shaft bearing member so as to transmit the torques of the paper feed motor and the head-driving motor to the platen and the head-driving screw shaft, respectively.

  • Patent number: 4214181
Abstract: The motor comprises a rotor, first and second stators surrounding the rotor and a common exciting coil for the stators. The rotor is provided with a plurality of spaced pole pairs of alternate polarities of an odd number equal to or larger than 5. The first and second stators are respectively provided with semicircular portions which face each other and the centers of these semicircular portions are displaced from the axis of rotation of the rotor such that the semicircular portions will be point symmetrical with respect to the axis of rotation. Main pole pieces are provided for respective semicircular portions at the adjacent portions thereof and interpole pieces are located adjacent the main pole pieces which are located closest to the rotor. Notches are formed between adjacent main and interpole pieces.

  • Patent number: 3931705
Abstract: The present invention relates to a counter feed mechanism as used in digital clock comprising a cam member adapted for advanced rotation and another cam member adapted for delayed rotation both arranged on a common axis so that the advanced rotation of the first-mentioned cam member under a drive force transmitted from a clock mechanism twists a coil spring stretched between both cam members, which is, in turn, charged with energy for rotation of the second-mentioned cam member and, upon rotary displacement of the first-mentioned cam member by a predetermined angle, said second cam member is released to be rotated at once so as to advance a rotary wheel step by step.
