  • Patent number: 7239300
Abstract: A source driver includes a hold memory circuit and a switch circuit. The hold memory circuit includes (i) delay circuits for delaying an inputted horizontal synchronization signal, (ii) hold latch cells each for latching display data in accordance with the horizontal synchronization signal that has been delayed by the delay circuit, and (iii) a control circuit for outputting a display start signal to the switch circuit upon receipt of the horizontal synchronization signal that has been delayed by the delay circuit. The switch circuit outputs a plurality of driving signals in accordance with the display start signal. This allows the peak value of the power source current to be reduced, and enables to avoid the malfunction of the source driver due to the misidentification of the horizontal synchronization signal and to avoid that the output timing becomes nonuniform.

  • Publication number: 20050093514
Abstract: An internal storage battery and an external storage battery that is freely attachable/detachable to/from a power source system are connected to a solar battery and a charge controller via first to fourth switch circuits. A control unit provided in the charge controller turns on the first switch circuit and turns off the second switch circuit so that the internal storage battery is assigned priority to be charged. After the internal storage battery is charged, the first switch circuit is turned off while the second switch circuit is turned on to charge the external storage battery. Further, the control unit turns off the third switch circuit and turns on the fourth switch circuit so that the external storage battery is assigned priority to be discharged. After the external storage battery is discharged, the third and fourth switch circuits are turned on and off respectively to discharge the internal storage battery.
