  • Patent number: 6229241
Abstract: A motor having a lap winding structure and a manufacturing method therefor, wherein inserts of two different coils are installed side by side in one slot of a stator in a circumferential direction of the stator. All the coils are inserted in slots in succession. Further, a stator having semi-closed type slots formed by protuberances oriented in different directions, is used to control a reduction in the magnetic flux at the inlet of a slot and also to prevent coils from coming off. In a motor having coils of a plurality of phases for generating a rotating magnetic field at a stator, the contact portion of the coil of the desired phase among the coils of the plurality of phases and a portion rising from a slot toward the axis of a core are aligned and disposed to have a shape which prevents them from interferring with end portions of the coils of other phases.

  • Patent number: 5046235
Abstract: A method of assembling a transformer core in which a lamination of rectangular plates formed of a magnetic material is inserted in the spaces in primary and secondary transformer coils, and in which the opposite ends of the lamination are brought into abutment each other to form the lamination into an annular shape. The lamination of the magnetic material plates is bent into a U-like shape with the transformer coils thereon and is magnetized by energizing the transformer coils, while the opposite ends of each magnetic material plate are restrained from being brought closer to each other. The opposite ends of the laminated magnetic material plates are successively released from the restrained state from the innermost opposed ends of the U-like shape to attract and closely contact each other by the magnetic force.

  • Patent number: 4520965
Abstract: An electric wire is wound as coil turns in slots in electric rotating machinery component such as a stator or an armature. The wire as it is supplied from a nozzle or flyer is guided by movable formers into successive layers of coil turns in the slots without forming an unwanted dead space in the slots. The formers are moved in radial increments to provide successive spaces in the slots for allowing the successive coil turn layers to be neatly laid in the spaces.

  • Patent number: 4480799
Abstract: A tension control apparatus in a winding machine for controlling tension applied to a continuous electric wire wound around a bobbin to form a perfect layer coil in such manner that tension of the electric wire is maintained substantially constant independently from variations in a feeding speed of the wire. Rotating positions of the bobbin preceding to those rotating positions by a magnitude corresponding to a time constant of brake means at which the rotation of the bobbin is to be changed among an accelerating rotation mode, a decelerating rotation mode and a constant speed rotation mode are preset in control means together with brake voltages corresponding, respectively, to the rotation modes through programming. The programmed rotating positions are each compared with a detection signal produced from detecting means for detecting actual rotating position of the bobbin.
