  • Patent number: 7107150
Abstract: There have been problems in the facility information management system arts because when a distance-based facility database is searched for the facility information by specifying the name and distance of a facility, the location and position of a specific facility must be found on a figure such as a map. Such a location is not easily pointed out especially when the facility is damaged. To overcome the above problems, the present invention relates the distance-based facility data with map data and allows a generation of graphical figure data to be overlaid on a map from the numerical data corresponding to the facility parameters stored in the distance-based facility data.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 10, 2003
Date of Patent: September 12, 2006
    Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.
Inventors: Kazuaki Iwamura, Keiro Muro, Shintaro Hatsumoto, Shu Tezuka, Yukio Funyu

  • Patent number: 5237653
Abstract: An Icon window display area taking precedence over all other display areas is disposed in the display screen. A window which becomes invisible at generation of a new window, a window size change of an existing window, or a position change of an existing window represented as an Icon which the operator can recognize or identify is the invisible window displayed in a new Icon window display area.

  • Patent number: 5179655
Abstract: An Icon window display area taking precedence over all other display areas is disposed in the display screen. A window which becomes invisible at generation of a new window, a window size change of an existing window, or a position change of an existing window is reduced to a predetermined size so as to be displayed in a new Icon window display area.

  • Patent number: 5146553
Abstract: An operator activates a document editing program or editing document data including character strings, graphics and image data with the aid of an input device and a display. In the course of edition of the document data by the operator, application programs are activated. The operator can write the characters, graphics and others into the document data being edited by making use of the application programs.

  • Patent number: 4887230
Abstract: The movement volumes of X and Y to the X axial direction and the Y axial direction and the rotate angle .theta. of the coordinate input device moved on the substrate, are calculated by the input controller. The calculating device outputs instruction signals to the display device to move the cursor displayed on the display device by the movement volumes of X and Y, and rotate the cursor by the rotation angle corresponding to that calculated by the input controller.
