  • Patent number: 11681397
Abstract: A position detection system includes a position detection apparatus and a server. The position detection apparatus includes an imaging apparatus that captures an image of an operation surface, a processor that detects a pointed position at which a pointing element is pointing on the operation surface by using a learned model based on captured images captured by the imaging apparatus, and a first communication apparatus that transmits the captured images to the server apparatus. The server apparatus includes at least one processor that detects a first image that does not contain an image of the pointing element out of the captured images, generates learning data containing the first image, and relearns the learned model by using the learning data.

  • Patent number: 11632486
Abstract: A printing device has a print unit for printing on roll paper; a wireless communication unit for communicating wirelessly with a paired control device; and a controller for receiving print data by wireless communication from the control device, and controlling the print unit based on the received print data. When changing from a pairing-disabled mode to a pairing-enabled mode, the controller controls the print unit to print pairing-related information on roll paper, does not process pairing in the pairing-disabled mode, and processes pairing when a pairing request is received in the pairing-enabled mode.

  • Patent number: 11385742
Abstract: A position detection method of detecting a position in an operation surface pointed by a pointing element, the method including irradiating with infrared light toward the operation surface, obtaining a first and second taken image calibrated with respect to the operation surface by imaging the operation surface with a first and second camera configured to take an image with the infrared light, forming a difference image between the first taken image and the second taken image, extracting an area in which an amount of disparity between the first taken image and the second taken image is within a predetermined range out of the difference image as a candidate area in which an image of the pointing element is included, detecting an area corresponding to a tip position of the pointing element from the candidate area extracted based on a shape of the pointing element, and outputting, based on the area corresponding to a tip position, information representing a pointing position of the pointing element in the operat

  • Patent number: 10838670
Abstract: A printer includes a printer communicator configured to communicate with a host device, a device communicator configured to communicate with a plurality of devices, a printer controller performing a process based on commands acquired via the printer communicator, and a shared buffer configured to store input information corresponding to each of a plurality of devices, where the input information is acquired via the device communicator. When the printer communicator receives a device control command including a device designation parameter designating a predetermined device among a plurality of devices, the printer controller acquires, from the shared buffer, buffer information indicating whether input information corresponding to the predetermined device designated by the device designation parameter is present in the shared buffer or input information.

  • Patent number: 9070079
Abstract: A printer 3 with a paper consumption output function resets the count of a paper consumption counter 32 (ST22) when a start measuring command C1 is received from the host computer 2 side, and measures the paper consumption 32A from a specific start measurement time to a specific stop measurement time using a paper consumption counter 32 (ST23b to ST27b). When a fetch paper consumption command C2 is received (ST41), the printer 3 outputs the paper consumption 32A, which is the count of the paper consumption counter 32, to the host computer 2 (ST43).
