    Abstract: A self-tapping screw includes a threaded shank, a drill bit and a head. The drill bit is provided with two blades each provided with at least one cutting slot. Thus, the cutting slot of each of the two blades performs a cutting action during the tapping process to aid the tapping action of the two blades so as to increase the self-tapping velocity of the blades and to shorten the working time of the drill bit. In addition, the cutting slot of each of the two blades can proceed the cutting and tapping action to prevent the drill bit from being inoperative when the two blades are broken or worn out during a long-term utilization so as to enhance the lifetime of the self-tapping screw.

    Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) light source assembly with a heat dissipation base is provided. The LED light source assembly includes the heat dissipation base and a light bar. The light bar includes a flexible printed circuit (FPC) board and at least one LED unit which is disposed on the FPC board and electrically connected to the FPC board. The heat dissipation base has two retaining recesses for lodging the side portions of the FPC board, so the FPC board can be thermally conductively connected to the heat dissipation base. Because of the flexibility of the FPC board, it is easy to lodge the FPC board in the heat dissipation base via the retaining recesses. Thus, the cost for arranging the light bar can be economized.

    Abstract: A magnetically actuated rotary apparatus includes a casing, a supporting frame, a central shaft, a rotor assembly, an outer actuating assembly, and an actuating device. The rotor assembly is coupled with the central shaft and rotatable with the central shaft about a central axis of the central shaft. The rotor assembly is provided with a plurality of fixed rotor magnets supported by a fixed rotor magnet supporting mechanism to the rotor assembly. Each of the fixed rotor magnets has an inclined angle with respect to the central axis of the central shaft. An outer actuating assembly is arranged around the rotor assembly, comprising a plurality of movable outer magnets spaced by baffle plates from each other. The movable outer magnet is formed with an inclined angle correspondingly opposite to the fixed rotor magnet mounted on the rotor assembly.

    Abstract: A fordable ascending/descending wing stand for a flying apparatus is disclosed. The wind stand includes a base supported on a car by a number of supporting rods. A frame is mounted on the base, provided with four propellers capable of generating a required upward and forward force to the flying apparatus. The angle of the propellers are controllable by a number of hydraulic actuators mounted on the frame. A tail helm is arranged on the frame for controlling the frying orientation of the car during flying. The base is further provided with a leftward/rightward mass center adjusting mechanism and a forward/rearward mass center adjusting mechanism for adjusting the mass center of the car during flying.
