  • Patent number: 10372854
Abstract: A method is presented for responding to user input by displaying when a circuit has a property expressed by an assertion based on data indicating values of signals of the circuit at a succession of times. The assertion expresses the property as a first sequence of expressions, and separately defines for each expression a corresponding evaluation time relative to the succession of times at which the expression is to be evaluated. The circuit has the property only if every expression of the first sequence evaluates true at its corresponding evaluation time. The method includes displaying a representation of each expression of the first sequence and identifying each variable that caused that expression to evaluate false and distinctively marking that variable's symbol relative to other variable symbols within the display for each expression of the first sequence that evaluates false at its corresponding evaluation time.

Abstract: An operation mode switching method for a memory storage apparatus, a memory controller and a memory storage apparatus using the method are provided. The operation mode switching method includes receiving at least one access command from a host system and determining whether the access command conforms to a predetermined pattern. If the access command conforms to the predetermined pattern, an operation mode of the memory storage apparatus is switched from a first mode to a second mode. The access command includes a first write command including a write string, and the memory storage apparatus executes an operation corresponding to the write string. Accordingly, the method switches the operation mode of the storage memory apparatus by determining the pattern of the access command, so as to simplify the procedure of switching the operation mode and effectively decrease the probability of switching the operation mode incorrectly.

  • Publication number: 20140124485
Abstract: A resistance spot welding method for a lap joint multi-metal sheets which may improve the welding efficiency and nugget quality comprises: coating a joining zone of one of two mutually facing surfaces of two adjacent metal sheets with an active agent with high resistivity to form a welding region, and clamping the welding region with an upper welding electrode and a lower welding electrode and providing an electric current into the welding region. The active agent with high resistivity generates high heat energy to melt the joining zone and join the two adjacent metal sheets. The active agent with high resistivity has a resistivity much greater than a resistivity of each of the two metal sheets, and the active agent with high resistivity consists of multi-component powders and an organic solvent.

  • Patent number: 8671672
Abstract: An actuator structure includes two half cylinders made respectively from the same mold and the two half cylinders engaged with each other to form an actuator. The actuator has an air reservoir chamber and a vane chamber dividing by a dividing unit, and the vane chamber has a vane inside. An O-shaped ring is formed around the vane and an elastic stopping edge is formed protrudingly from the O-shaped ring and linearly contacted an inner surface of the actuator. The volume ratio of the air reservoir chamber and the vane chamber is about three to one, and a channel groove is formed at an interface of the two half cylinders to connect an air inlet hole and a left side and a right side wall of the actuator. A fail-safe or dual-movement control structure is formed to control the direction of air supply to drive the shaft to rotate toward a predetermined direction, or utilizing the compressed air in the air reservoir chamber to force the vane to restore to its original position.

  • Patent number: 8479132
Abstract: A computer processes simulation data indicating values of circuit signals as functions of simulation time to determine whether a circuit exhibits a property defined by an assertion. The assertion expresses the property as a sequence of expressions, each a function of one or more variables, where each variable represents a value of one or more signals or a value of another sequence of expressions. The assertion statement separately defines an evaluation time for each expression, a particular simulation time at which the expression is to be evaluated. Each expression must evaluate true if the circuit has the property. The computer produces a display including a representation of each expression of the property including a separate variable symbol for each of its variables. For each expression that evaluated false, the computer identifies each variable that caused that expression to evaluate false and distinctively marks that variable's symbol relative to other variable symbols within the display.
