Abstract: A method for making a hammer includes supplying a workpiece having a first end face and a second end face. The workpiece extends along an axis between the first and second end faces. The method further includes machining the workpiece such that the first and second end faces have substantially polygonal shape. The method also includes forming a hole through a central region of the workpiece.

Abstract: A multipurpose lever type tool is disclosed, which includes a lever head having a thick rear edge for breaking lumber members, a claw, and a handle connected between the head and the claw, the claw having a root obliquely backwardly extending from one end of the handle and a claw body obliquely forwardly extending from the root such that the front end edge of the claw body is substantially in line with the extending line of a side of the handle farthest from the root for safety in use.

Abstract: A multipurpose prying tool, which has a handle, a prying head, which is fixedly connected to one end of the handle and has two jaws of different lengths arranged in parallel and a mouth defined between the two jaws and extending from one end of the handle at 90° or about 90°, and a prying tip made in the form of a claw and obliquely extended from the other end of the handle for pulling out nails.

Abstract: A hammer structure with a hammerhead having an impact face with a shape of the letter “D” is disclosed. The impact face has three straight sides, and one arc-shaped side; as a result, the surface area of the impact face is substantially larger than that of a conventional O-shaped impact face with the same width and height. Since the effective impact face is enlarged, the point of force application can be more precisely controlled, regardless of whether the hammering is carried out on a single wall, a corner between two walls, or any similar locations. Moreover, the problems caused by dead spots can be overcome.

Abstract: A UV-treated tool handle having a base layer of dark polyurethane coating coated on the surface of a wooden handle body thereof, an intermediate layer of transparent polyurethane coating coated on the base layer of dark polyurethane coating, and an outer layer of UV spray paint coated on the intermediate layer of transparent polyurethane coating, wherein the tool handle has been radiated with ultraviolet rays.

Abstract: An orthopedically engineered handle for hammer is disclosed, which comprises a substantially straight front handle body section, a front coupling tip straightly forwardly extending from the front end of the front handle body section, and a double-curved rear handle body section backwardly extending from the rear end of the front handle body section and smoothly curving upwards at a climbing angle about 5°˜7° and then smoothly curving downwards at a descending angle about 5°˜7°.

Abstract: A hammer is disclosed, which has a nail groove axially formed in the top side of the front bell of the head thereof, a magnet mounted in the nail groove for attracting a metal nail for hammering, and a side face at each of the two opposite lateral sides of the head for hammering operations in a narrow space.
